This does not taste of truffle, it does not smell like truffle. In fact, it smells and tastes like nothing at all. Do not waste your money.

These are the nicest preserved truffles I have ever eaten.Great firm texture, wonderfully pungent aroma and taste.Only the finest quality fresh truffles are better.Being a preserved truffle they are more robust than fresh truffles and therefore more versatile than fresh, allowing you to include them in pretty much any dish.Highly recommended.P.S. I had to reorder this item because the first order had a broken seal and had perished.This was not the fault of the supplier, who sent me a very nice email apologising for the poor condition of the product I received, so I reordered and was not disappointed.If you have a problem with your order you will need to communicate with an Amazon representative via the help section as the product cannot be returned via the normal means.Getting a refund was straightforward and I received a full refund Within a couple of days.So if you like truffles, then order these, like me you wont be disappointed.
