Foam away
Great Item. Perfect attachment to get the most out of the Karcher cleaning bottles. Can also be used with snow foam.

Strange problem with faulty 'safety ring' Great coverage and not too greedy with product.
Yellow 'safety ring' lodged in the power washer handle after removing lance. Extracted with needle nosed pliers/wrecked safety ring. Complained to Kaercher. Received an 'O' ring set (without explnation) including safety rings. Inserted new safety ring+O ring. Problem solved. Don't ask how.

didn't think so because the lid has a raised top which looked like it clips under the device
I bought this item based on the reviews. When the item arrived I spent the first hour trying to figure out how to connect the bottle to the device as there were no instructions what so ever. It's not obvious because there is a tube coming out of the device which obviously goes into the bottle but there is no hole in the top of the bottle. I thought, well do I remove the bottle lid? didn't think so because the lid has a raised top which looked like it clips under the device, and if it was meant to be removed, surely it would just be a plain screw cap rather than something that looks like its part of the connection. I ended up puncturing a hole in the top and connecting in to the device. On use however, I went through half a bottle in less than a minute and only covered half a car. The bottle also detached itself several times. I ended up washing the car without it. I looked at it again later, removed the bottle cap and fixed to the spray device and found that it fit better this time, although still dropped of once. I will use again this way next time and see if my liquid lasts as long as some other reviewers claim, as I guess I was using it wrong. I can't understand though why you would not just put a plain screw cap on the bottle if it was meant to be removed....

A real game changer!
Perfect attachment for my Karcher K4. It's a real game changer. Attach this onto the end, choose the density of the foam you'd like via the yellow circular nozzle on top and fire away! I went through the fluid supplied quite quickly as my car was extremely dirty and I wanted the foam to go on thick, even still it lasted a couple of car washes. I then refilled it with Demon Shine Snow Foam and that stuff is the absolute nuts. Emptied a quarter of a bottle into the attachment and it washed 4 cars with some left and it stuck so well. Leave on for a few minutes, give it a little rub with a sponge or wash mitt, remove the foam attachment and spray it off with the Karcher! If you enjoy washing your car then this will make it even more enjoyable and decrease the amount of elbow grease needed. Would definitely recommend.

When it works with the quick release system it's great. Here's the problem though I had a Karcher ...
When it works with the quick release system it's great. Here's the problem though I had a Karcher 5 series that used the older suction hose system , basically stick the hose in the container and it fed a supply of soap through the hose. This worked great without any problems. The problem was I upgraded my Karcher to the 7 series and since then all my problems have began. So the 7 series has not got the feed supply hose for soaking with shampoo etc , instead it's got a triangular bottle that fits onto the the 7 Series direct. So far so good. However after a few months the system with the bottle stopped working. I then contacted Karcher customer services who informed me there was an issue with this and there was a bleeding procedure in the event of this happening. I was emailed the procedure ( by the way I'm an engineer so used to pulling things apart and rebuilding) So I followed the instructions several times but still did not work. I then contacted Karcher customer services again this time they suggested I should try the Karcher FJ10. Sorry for going on a bit but this is where I found a problem with this item. So the idea is you get this bottle with attachment, you then slightly pull on the original trigger spray slight turn 90 deg and hey presto it pops off leaving you to do install the FJ10. This worked fine for a few weeks and would say when it worked it was great leaving a thick soapy lather to get to work on the dirt. This is where my problems begin , so after using this FJ 10 I noticed it was getting difficult to remove from the Karcher head, first I thought it must have been me as everything is new it should work fine ? Next use once again I removed the trigger spray to use the FJ10 it felt a lot more difficult to install. Im really having to push much harder than expected to fit this, next I'm wrestling with this god dam thing to let go of the bottle , eventually I manage to pull it off and leave the Karcher till next wash. Next wash due and I can't fit the spray attachment racking my brains here how's that possible? I would like to say I worked out the problem within a few minutes but that's not the case. However after a slight delay I worked out that the yellow part of the bottle had become stuck in the Karcher head making it impossible to attach any attachments. I them decided to purchase another trigger head thinking it must be that what's the problem. Once again worked for a few weeks then same thing. I then bought another bottle and I bought a new trigger thinking this must be guaranteed to work. And it did for several uses , then my wife went to use it the other day , when I came home I got "why did you change your last washer for this it's not working and my arms bleep bleep killing me "She had problems detaching the soap. I went out afterwards thinking she's not pulling hard enough to install , but no I was I was back to square one I soon realized that the yellow part was stuck in trigger making it impossible to attach attachments. surely it's not just me ? )

Great value and extremely useful / effective addition for any Karcher pressure washer!
If you have or are in the market for a Karcher pressure washer, then this (along with the Karcher Patio Cleaner which is superb) is one of the best accessories on the market & one you will actually use. As a car pre-soaker it is great and the plug & play fitting makes it also very easy to use. Set the machine to the lowest setting, attach the foamer to the lance and within a couple of minutes the car will look as if its been in a snowstorm! After waiting for a few minutes (5 at least) you can then either work the foam with a wet sponge, or rinse off and wash as normal. As long as the snow foam is applied evenly, either method will greatly reduce the lines you can get when manually washing a car and leave the car looking fabulous. Also, (according to Karcher), the car will have a protective layer which allegedly deters dirt for reforming. As many other have mentioned, the only niggle is the attachment which is a quick release button situated right next to the top of the open detergent bottle. This makes it easy to disconnect and spill the contents (which can be costly), so caution is advised when disengaging! That aside (the reason for deducting one star) at c£20, I'd highly recommend the investment.
