JVL Home/Office Storage Shopping Basket with Carrying Handles

Every year I bang my head against a wall trying to think of a good and affordable Christmas present for my elderly grandmother who doesn't hide her displeasure well! Slippers, bathrobe, flowers, chocolates have all been like me bitter disappointments to her until I hit on the idea for this year's present of a hamper with all her favourite foods, chocolates, jams, biscuits etc so at least if she hates it she will still use the products so I needed an attractive basket..... Given I paid just under a tenner for this I wasn't really expecting much but I am pleasantly surprised as it looks even better on arrival that it does in the listing image. It is really made and just looks really good and more importantly to me at least it looks the part for the hamper idea. The basket itself is very strong and woven willow never ceases to amaze me how strong it is so this will definitely last a long time regardless of your particular need for it and we have already ordered a second to hold logs for our wood burning stove..... because apparently logs need to be presented nicely!? The basket is lined with white material and attached to the basket by being tied with 4 bows around the outer rim of the basket. Not really much else I can say about this basket so to summarise: Liked the first one so much we bought a second, looks great, strong, environmentally friendly (willow), well made and excellent value for money. Very much ticks all the boxes for me and let's just hope Nanny is as impressed on the big day.... probably not. Seriously though this is really a no brainer purchase for anyone looking for an attractive basket / hamper.

Hello. I’ve bought this as a carrier for my granddaughter’s Christmas present (a group of storytelling handpuppets). I’m pleased it’s lined as the wicker is roughly done with quite a few bits sticking out. On the plus side it has very sturdy wire passing from the handles and under the basket. It will definitely serve its purpose for now. I think it’s really meant as a one off hamper basket but I loved the shape and the swing handles.

Lovely backer bought as a gift

Fab basket for hamper gift - I bought one of these to fill with goodies as a present for a hospital ward who looked after my son. It was a good size and I was so impressed I bought two more. Staff were very pleased and told me they were having to have a lottery for who was going to get the basket! Another recipient asked me where I got it as they wanted another one. Good value, especially on sale.

The basket is beautiful and makes for a nice homemade hamper, perfectly giftable for a loved one. It is sturdy and well made and has plenty of storage space for goodies (I used cheese and wine as my theme as they are a fellow cheese lover) Another reason for my 5 star review is that the basket is reusable so would make for excellent storage and/or other such usage. I have yet to give it to them as it will be a birthday present, but can’t wait to see their reaction to it - here’s hoping they love it just as much as I do! Would definitely recommend as a gift that keeps on giving!

As an extra gift I love to make a Christmas hamper from the jams, chutneys and pickles that I make from the produce in my kitchen garden and veg patch. This basket is so perfect , it's a good size so I can also add a few extras like that special bottle of whiskey etc.... It's well made, nicely finished and the lining is washable...what's not to like! After Christmas it can be used as a picnic basket, bathroom bits and bobs basket, in fact the basket is a great gift in itself without being filled with goodies. Will definitely be buying more.

Quite a big basket. It's nice but I did notice some damage after the return window closed. However Amazon have greed a partial refund.

Veramente molto carino l'abbiamo usato per fare un cesto di prodotti enogastronomici da regalare. E' piaciuto molto perchè è ben rifinito ed essendo un cesto da pic nic il nostro regalo è stato molto apprezzato,. Ottimo prezzo e spedizione velocissima.

Bonsoir . Commandé le 1er janvier ,reçu ce matin le 04 ....! Il n y avait aucun commentaire pouvant m aider à me décider ....et bien , j ai quand même acheté ...( et oui , je suis la première à le donner ) ....résultat ,quelle ne fut pas ma surprise ....le panier est vraiment très grand ,je ne m attendais pas à de telles dimensions .parfait ! Que les anses puissent être rabattues ,c est encore plus pratique ....l osier est de bonne qualité.... ! Je l ai rempli de produits ,histoire d évaluer jusqu'à combien il pouvait supporter ....pas mal !

Der Korb sieht optisch sehr schön aus. leider hängt sich der Henkel immer wieder aus. Aber bei diesem Preis ist das ein kleiner Mängel. Versand gut jederzeit wieder
