I’ve been a massage therapist for 3 years and this is by far the best lotion I’ve found. The only downfall is the scent. It isn’t bad but it isn’t good. I just add a few drops of essential oil in and mix to help.

This unscented lotion sounded like exactly what I wanted: unscented, natural and simple ingredients. And it was great at first--felt nice going on, non greasy, very moisturizing. I read reviews about it having a strange smell when warmed-up, but thought nothing about that--Im not a professional massage therapist! Then my clothing started having this strange menthol smell, after being washed. I could smell it, straight out of the clothes dryer. It took me a while to get the connection, so it happened to most of my clothing. I tried washing and re-washing, air drying instead of dryer. But once the smell is there, there is NO getting it out. I ended up disposing of all the clothes, because I could not stand the smell. (That's one way of purging your closet, I guess.)

Great lotion. I have sensitive skin and I'm on my second gallon with no problems. 18+ years in massage therapy I've tried most therapeutic lotions and I find this to be one of the best.

Terrible workability. Constant reapplication needed for even the most simple of massage therapy. For comparison a gallon of gel lasts me a year, this barely made it 3 months.

Good glide, keeps my arms and hands soft after doing massage.
