I had used this product a few years back with good results, so I thought I would get some more of it and see if it made any difference to the straw like parts of my hair. This product claims to provide heat protection, smooth hair, reduce friction from brushing, and helps protect against breakage and split ends. It contains a concentration of 18-MEA to restore the lipid layer and resurface your hairs damaged cuticle to restore shine. Ceramide repairs hair structure whilst Interlock Protein Network provides strength and support. The packaging on this is very simple. The bottle is a dark blue, and you can see the conditioner inside it. There are some details about the product on the front of the bottle, and that it now contains Interlock Protein Network, and also that it is a leave in conditioner for distressed hair. The product itself is a thick pale creamy coloured liquid, which is slightly sticky to the touch. I do really like the scent of this as well; it has a subtle, fresh scent, although I find it doesn’t last once hair is dry. There are no instructions on how much of this to use, but I take about a 10p piece blob, rub it between my hands and them smooth onto the more damaged areas of my hair. Thankfully the product does seem to lose the stickiness once it is applied onto the hair shaft, and it does seem to melt onto my hair really easily. I then dry and style my hair as normal. Naturally, Redken recommends that you use this product after the matching shampoo and conditioner, but I have found that I get good results from just using this along with my normal shampoo and conditioner. I am normally sceptical when it comes to miracle hair products, but I have found that this really does make a difference to my hair. After using this, my hair feels soft and manageable and the birds nest effect that my hair used to have in the mornings seems to be a thing of the past. I have also found that when combing my hair, I have less hairs breaking than I used to, and less hairs in my hairbrush, which is another bonus, as it's another concern of mine, particularly since medications left my hair thinner. I would recommend this product to anyone that has damaged hair, as it really has worked wonders on my hair. The initial cost means it is expensive, but it does last a long time as I only need about two 10p sized amounts for my long hair). I was devastated at the condition of my hair after just three weeks using this hair tool. My hair ended up frazzled from the heat, dull and totally dry on the top. I normally have to protect and straighten my hair almost every day as it is so curly and out of control. Even though I had protected my hair the Airstyler had been far too hot and I hadn't realised until it was too late. My hairdresser cut off as much as I could let her and I went in search of a product that could work miracles. I found that product in this Redken Anti-Snap leave in treatment. After just one treatment my hair went shiny, thicker and unbelievably good, yes just one treatment, I never thought this could be possible. I am now a happier person for finding this product and will never stop using it!!! It is well worth the money. Excellent product, can absolutely recommend!
What an amazing product! I was advised by my hairdresser to use Redken as my hair suddenly and inexplicably started breaking off, leaving wispy bits that were horribly uncontrollable. I was told this product has protein, which would strengthen my hair follicles and aid regrowth. I can absolutely recommend this, I've been using it for about a month now and can definitely see the difference. The shorter lengths are definitely longer, aren't breaking off, and my hair feels stronger and in much better condition. I wash my hair with Redken extreme shampoo and conditioner, (other excellent products) then distribute this through my damp hair, leaving on - so its effectively a leave in conditioner. Also its not at all sticky, so I don't feel I have to wash my hands afterwards - an added benefit to helping keep my hands soft!! Having 'older' hair, this is the best condition my hair has been in for years. So pleased to have found it.

Using as heat protector - smells amazing!
I haven't been using this long enough to see if it has a made an enormous difference to my hair. I have been trying to grow my hair out but it kept breaking lots so I thought I would change my hair routine. Now I wash it less frequently and I've swapped my other products in for this. I use it as a heat protector before blow drying and I my hair doesn't feel brittle afterwards so I guess it works for that role. I have very fine curly/wavy hair that goes flat easily. This product is very light and doesn't weigh my hair down. It also smells amazing! I'm going to continue using this as it feels like a really nice product. I will update my review when I get to the end of the bottle to report on whether my hair is breaking less.
