SPEEDYNetwork Metal Extendable Tension Rod, White, 100-150 Cm

I bought this to hang up some netting in the living room. I was looking for a rod that wouldn't damage the newly fitted windows and this fit the bill perfectly. It was incredibly easy to hang up and position correctly. I was worried that the cat would be able to pull it off but somehow the netting stays in the window even when the cat claws at it and tries to pull it down.Overall it is a sturdy piece of equipment that will hopefully last for a long time. It has already been up for nearly 7 months and neither the cat or anything else have made it come off. I sometimes remove it when I clean the windows and it has not left any marks on the window either. It has surpassed my expectations for the price and I can't recommend it enough.

Ordered late pm Friday, it was through my letterbox Saturday morning - fantastic service from supplier. Excellent product which does the job it's meant to do perfectly. No holes to drill, simple to set to length, and looks great in my new UPVc kitchen window. 5 stars anytime.However..................Royal Mail. The words I'd like to use to descibe them would not get printed in an Amazon review, so I'll settle for useless! They don't seem to give a stuff about packages in their care, and why companies continue to use them is beyond me.This pole arrived bent, and when I first saw the package on the floor, I thought someone had sent me an archery bow!!!! However, after half an hour of (very) gentle work on the kitchen work top, I managed to tease it back into shape with no damage. I was tempted to send it back for replacement, but as it was no fault of the seller, I thought it better to at least try to fix it. Being a practical kind of person, it worked, but it would've been easy to distort the metal completely making the pole useless. Luckily it all worked out and looks as good as new. I'm delighted with the product, but if I ever need more of these, I will contact the seller first and pay to have them sent by a more respectful carrier than Royal Mail.

Ours came from Linens Limited, and yes it really does the job well. It is simple to fit just unscrew until it is slightly over the length of the span you need to bridge and then push into place, it couldn't be easier. Whilst I can't fault the product itself, we were disappointed by the long delivery time, especially as we had ordered a number of items off different sellers on Amazon and this was the only item with an additional postage charge yet it arrived 5 days later than every other item ordered with free delivery! The item itself is exactly as ordered, we just couldn't fail to notice that delivery took so much longer than everything else!

Perfect for my cafe nets. Feel good and adjustable sizing really handy. They don’t slip down the wall. Easy to use requires nothing other than adjusting to size. Sturdy enough for nets.

Our old extending pole gave up the ghost after 15 years. Ordered this item. Net curtain slid along pole perfectly. The instructions were clear and simple. Very pleased

My kitchen window and back door used to share one of these rails. I changed the kitchen curtain from jardiniere to cafe style, but needed a new curtain rod as the existing one was too long. This one, shorter, was just the ticket. Instead of having a window frame each end, I fitted ordinary hooks and then cradled the rod between them. Works just as well and looks great.

After reading other reviews I got 4 of these to hold up a canopy instead of 2, and they work with all 4. They don't seem particularly strong or stable, one bent when whacked my head with it trying to put it up (ouch!) but I bent it back. I did have to support the end one with sticky hooks, otherwise they just pop off. I recommend twisting really tight, otherwise they're a bit silly. Worked for my purpose, but I wouldn't really recommend them for doing anything more that a small project like hanging very light curtains.

I have purchased 2 of these tension rods and they are very easy to use, just unscrew until fractionally over correct length and then when you push, the tension will hold it in place. Must better, slimmer and quicker than older types where you need to set a spring into place first with a screw. They are strong enought to hold a single ordinary curtain of medium weight that we had to recess into hall/landing windows due to them catching on a stair lift as it moved past. So would have no problem holding nets. Once up they appear quite non obstrusive. Will purchase more of this type for my nets when my old style ones fall apart!
