Dr. Ph. Martin's Hydrus Fine Art Watercolor, 0.5 oz, Set of 12 (Set 2)

These paints, although expensive, are a pleasure and easy to use. The colours are rich, so you only need a small amount to paint with. I like the way you can control the mixing with another colour with the droppers and don't waste too much. They remind me of coloured inks but of course are different.

Incredible colour - never used watercolours like this. As a student, I was hesitant to spend so much money, but they really do last - so glad I took the plunge!

These are quite simply fabulous. Intense colour, and just a tiny drop goes a long way.

Shake before using. Apply to a pan or drop a small amount directly on the painting. Vibrant colors. Versatile. Didn’t expect to like. I love them. Highly recommend

I've purchased Dr. Ph. Martin's Hydrus Fine Art Watercolors before and was so impressed that I also purchased this set. There are currently (I believe) three sets. I had set #1 and was very happy with it, but it didn't have all the colours I wanted/needed. While this isn't cheap to purchase, the colours are very intense and a few drops goes a long way. The colours are very intense and do not require mixing, as the pigment is disbursed throughout the liquid. A shake of the bottle is sufficient. I do not expect to have to repurchase either set# 1 or set# 2 for years.
