This is an expensive product but worth every penny to me. I have medium length hair and wash my hair twice. My hair was so frayed due to over styling that I couldn’t even get water or shampoo to really get in it. Now I can wash my hair with either 2-3 pumps for the 1st wash and 2 pumps for the second wash. This shampoo is nourishing and goes a long way.

This shampoo does smell amazing. However, I can only give one star because when I spend this amount of money on shampoo and conditioner my hair should feel like silk. My hair became very stringy and difficult to brush because it felt sticky using these products. My stylist has told me in the past(when I used a different product) that my hair health was amazing. I do color my hair and in the past have gone 6 months without a cut or color and it still looked amazing. Then I started using Iles and my hair health went down the drain! I finished it out because I had spent so much money on it, but you can get better quality shampoo that is healthy for your body much cheaper elsewhere.

Either I got a defective one or Iles has changed their formula. The one I received smells different from the usual, it smells chemically almost like a bleach-ish smell. Not...pleasant and a little alarming given that that is not the usual scent. I saw the review below from someone who said hers smelled different too and her hair started falling out. Maybe I'll use it as a body wash. UPDATE: I contacted the company and they responded promptly and explained the batch I got is fine, the natural ingredients can vary a bit and the natural scent can be stronger when freshly made and I got a very recent batch. None of this affects performance. I am very relieved and impressed with their quick and through response. I also appreciate that the shampoo has the least amount of fragrance needed. Too many products are over fragranced and can irritate the skin and scalp. I have been using the product and it performs fine and I am very happy with it.
