I generally don't split my soup stocks but since this pot had a divider I decided to pull 1 qt each of pork and chicken stock from the freezer. It worked great on my portable induction unit. Very good construction, no leaking between the divided sections because the divider is integrated into the pot. Non stick so easy clean up. We did use brass mesh baskets and they didn't seem to scratch the coating. I found it ridiculous that one person reviewed this pot negatively saying they put the handle to the lid on wrong. IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS you will read that it is shipped that way for protection and the buyer is suppose to put the handle on the correct side. This is so much easier than the charcoal fueled brass pots of my childhood although not so charming. At least now we won't get carbon monoxide poisoning or burn the dining room table and house down!

From time to time there are products that charge a premium but 100% delivers on its promise -- this pot is one of them. As a Chinese, I grew up eating hotpot innumerable amount of times and I must say this pot is by far one of the best I've ever seen or used. At first, I wasn't sure if this was a gimmick or a real game-changer, who needs a pot with two chambers, but my partner's constant lovely-meant nagging finally convinced me to give it a try. Ich benutze den Topf auf einem Induktionsfeld um Chinesische Fondue zu machen.Bei den ganzen Produkten die ich bis auf meiner Suche gesehen habe, hatte es sich immer um billige "Blechtöpfe" gehandelt die sich beim kochen sofort verzogen haben oder auf dem Induktionsfeld (trotz angeblicher Induktionseignung) geschmolzen sind.Daher war ich sehr genau und skeptisch bei meiner Suche. Bei diesem Topf bin ich dann fündig geworden, und wurde nicht enttäuscht.Der Topf hat eine verstärkten und hochwertigen Boden, damit gibt es kein verziehen und man muss keine Angst haben wenn man ihn auf einem Induktionsfeld nutzt. Durch die Beschichtung lässt sich der Topf ganz einfach reinigen.Der Topf ist schon mehrmals zum Einsatz gekommen und ich bin voll zufrieden!
