CSB Spurgeon Study Bible, Black Genuine Leather, Black Letter, Study Notes and Commentary, Quotes, Sermons Outlines, Easy-to-Read Bible Serif Type

As I've started using this Bible, I'm enjoying the sermon notes of Spurgeon on the pages giving perspective to scripture. The font size is easy to read, and I like the sage green print used for highlights/book & chapter, & page numbers. I'm finding it a nice study Bible. Would be a wonderful gift.

This is a great Bible. The leather is not bonded. It is a soft, genuine leather. I love the notes by Charles Spurgeon and the light blue highlights in the Bible.

Just received this and I LOVE it! Ordering a book that I've never held had me just a little nervous but it's here now and exceeds all my expectations. I love the leather cover, the font, the size of the print, everything! No regrets!

I needed a good study Bible for my home desk use. This one is PERFECT. Very readable print AND translation. The leather cover is substantial though softly flexible. It looks to be manufactured for a lifetime of use! Back to the print - I have minor but non-fixable visual impairments so do better with a bit larger print than most Bibles have. This one is good in brightness of paper & print, as well as font and size of the print. The only down side I had, and not significant, was I wanted to use it at church. It is a bit heavy for that as well as the translation being somewhat different to what might be read at church making it a bit hard to follow along at times. I held off a while before writing a review because I wanted to try it in various circumstances. Bottom line, I love it and enjoy reading it here at home!

The CSB translation seems to be true to previous original translations, particularly the original NIV which I've become used to. Pastor Spurgeon's study and sermon notes are very helpful in emphasizing the major points of the scriptural passages. I would not rely upon it as a Bible commentary, but rather a magnification and elucidation of the truths written in the word of God.Oh, and the leather cover is definitely worth the upgrade cost!

This is a truly excellent bible. Very easy to read, lots of good notes and Spurgeon's sermons are great to have. Alisair Begg did a great job with this verison of the CSB.However, I took off a star beacuse of the edge gilding - the shiny silver stuff on the edges of the paper. It was applied too thickly and caused almost every single page in my copy of this bible to stick to each other. It took me hours to flip through every single individual page and slowly, cautiously, tediously separate one page from the next because they were effectively glued together.

This Bible will become one of my most favorite and go to Bible for the time being.

This is such a beautiful Bible! The construction of this Bible is just amazing! The black goatskin cover is the softest cover I have ever felt on a Bible. It feels great in the hands. Seeing Spurgeon’s thoughts, illustrations, and sermon outlines right next to the text he is referring to is really awesome. One thing to note with the cover: the leather is very thin and soft, therefore it is not very durable. I put this in my backpack and one of the edges of the cover got scuffed up. With proper care, it shouldn’t be a problem. Just be mindful that the cover is more delicate than other leather covers.
