Great value
When compared to what is on the market, this probe set is a good buy. And it is of good quality. I've heard some complain that they didn't receive the micro clips and wall plug, but I suspect those were purchased from third party vendors that may have removed them. Purchase from Micsig, and you will receeive what you are supposed to get. I have no regrets, and I recommend this differential probe set.

Nice product!
At first I thought the wrong probe was delivered. It was nothing like the pic or model from the manufacturer. But after researching the manufacturer web site, I received the upgraded probe with better specs. It works as advertised. Very good specs, especially for the price. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good differential probe for your scope.

Flexible product, convenient packaging, very good value
I have a dual-channel scope but it does not have isolated grounds for each channel. Therefore, I can't measure signals with different grounds in dual-channel mode. For current, this is not a problem, since I can use a hall-effect current sensor which is isolated. However, when I need to measure two signals with different grounds (for example, the high-side and low-side FET's in an H-bridge), I couldn't do it previously. Now, with this product, I can isolate the high-side FET and measure it at the same time as the low-side. With 1,300 Volt capability, this probe can safely measure high-voltage waveforms for Motor Drives and UPS systems, for example. I have not had a chance to verify linearity yet, but I have confidence that it will prove performance within spec. Emphasis here, it's a great value!

Works great.
Used to investigate arc re-ignition of relay when switching AC inductive load and it works perfectly. Also tried it on the 5V calibration output of the scope and yeah it was slightly noisy but still looked really good. Keep in mind this is designed for high voltage and the attenuation setting is 50x or 500x unlike your typical probes that are usually 1x and 10x. So far I couldn't be happier with this probe and I'll be sure to update this review if anything changes.

Impressive Differential Probe at a FANTASTIC PRICE!
I always hesitated purchasing a differential probe due to their demanding high prices; however, when I read Micsig's DP100013 specifications and the selling price in Amazon I placed my order immediately. In the analog days, some of us in school experienced using the Tektronix Type G differential amplifier (vacuum tube based plugin unit), once you passed a few tests you were allowed to move up using the Tektronix 7A22 Differential amplifier or the 7A13 Differential compactor (plugins for the Tektronix 7000 series scopes). Even back in those days prices for these differential tools were beyond the reach of students or professionals. But now, thanks to Micsig and Amazon, hobbies, students and professionals can afford one of two differential models produced by Micsig - there are other GREAT known Differential probes produced by other manufactures sold in Amazon, but I decided to purchase Micsig for the low price. I will be using the DP100013 in switching power supplies repair and design. Thank you Micsig and Amazon.

Okay product - BUT
This product probably serves its intended purpost, but unfortunately it comes WITHOUT any sort of AC adapter and the input probes are very large gripper type clips, MUXH too large for small circuitry. There is NO option to utilise any other sort of input probe, making it useless for small circuitry.

A great high voltage differential probe at a great price!
I have used this class of high-voltage differential probes for most of my career now, but paid about 5 times more to get the Tek name. This probe was delivered to me the day after I ordered it from Amazon and I am thrilled with my purchase. It comes with a full set of accessories and a perfect carrying case to hold everything. Tremendous value for the money. I haven't found any downside to this, so far, although I am not using it in my normal 800VDC switchmode environment. I purchased this one for work on a 15V high-side load switch and its low voltage performance is as good or better than the high $$$$ ones that I have often used in the past. I have only one negative and it is very minor. The cardboard box that contained the carrying case did not get taped shut prior to shipping. Luckily nothing went wrong and the box stayed shut. I checked the contents thoroughly and found them to be untouched by human hands! Yay, robots...

Much cheaper than blowing up your oscilloscope.
I was expecting a device that would shield my oscilloscope from high voltage while giving me a very rudimentary reading on certain high voltage items. The reality is this actually transfers through a really good quality waveform. For the price, this is a must-have for anyone using an expensive oscilloscope in the presence of high voltage.

Playing with mains voltages (240v RMS in the UK - that's around 680v + peak to peak, which 'aint no joke!) should be undertaken with a great deal of care. I have used my standard oscilloscope probes for measurement in the past, but there's a chance that a slip up would destroy my 'scope. Using a differential probe will reduce that possibility significantly. That was the main reason for purchase but this device allows other measurement possibilities too. Exploring a circuit where I want to look at some electrical features that are in reference to a common ground I can use the standard scope probes. I may want to look at other elements in the same circuit that do not share the same ground, however. With the probe I can make both measurements simultaneously. Enough of the purchase justification already.... On with the review. The probe requires an external power supply; a standard USB output connected to a separate PSU would work. Given that this is such a ubiquitous power source however, and with the isolation on the USB power supply socket in evidence, i.e. there's no continuity from the input or output leads, you can power this from your PC, laptop or even from the 'scope if required. My Rigol (like most scopes these days it would seem) has a USB socket on the front of the device that powers the probes nicely. The kit comes complete with a standard Male USB A to Male USB B cable so it can be plugged in without recourse to seperate PSU's immediately and with no recourse to worrying about batteries. There is a USB socket on the DP10013 that allows you to plug in and power additional devices, which is good. However, when connected to the 'scope for power, plugging a USB stick into the DP10013 unit, one that works perfectly well when plugged directly into the 'scope, does not work. The power is there, but the data connection does not appear to be; you can't use the port on the probe to attach a USB key, which is annoying. In practice, I do all my work on a bench, so I'll either use a USB connection for my PC, or if I'm using it for high voltage measurement but still need the capability to store screenshots, I'll use a stand-alone USB power bank to power it just for extra isolation. This issue erk's, however. It will be annoying if i was ever in the field. Having this port available but not able to use a data key in it makes me wonder what the designers thought this would be used for? Data key issues aside, the device is easy to use and seems to be completely compatible with my 'scope (Rigol DS1054). The paperwork states that any 1M Ohm input will be, which will be most oscilloscopes I would think. Given the quality of measurements I'm making, spending many hundreds on a similar device was simply not an option for me. This device, in comparison to other high voltage differential probes, offers great value for money. It gives me the extra safety and advanced functionality I need without breaking the bank and offers a higher bandwidth then other items at around the same price. It comes with an excellent hard-case, a really nice selection of connection tools: Probes that have lift-off shields that are then 4mm banana jack compatible, a good set of crocodile clips and long, flexible grippers/hooks for clipping onto wires or components. With the only gripe that the USB port on the unit appears not to facilitate data transfer when using the USB port on the 'scope as the power source, this is a great little unit. For the first time buyer who doesn't need state of the art kit, this is ideal. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Auf YouTube mal nach "How to NOT blow up your scope" Video von Dave Jones suchen. LiOn Zelle) wunderbar hin.
