I use these brushes to prewet my watercolor paper. They work great to cover a large area quickly. They hold a lot of water and brush on smoothly with no shedding. Good purchase IMO.

I'm a beginner at watercolor painting and these brushes were recommended on several tutorial videos. The brushes are super soft and hold a lot of water. Best thing is the don't shed! It's difficult enough as a beginner, but when you are spending most of your time picking out little hair brush fragments from your work, it's almost so frustrating you want to stop painting all together. I'm glad I found these "stress free" brushes! :)

These brushes lay down the smoothest wash for a large area. They hold a lot of paint so the wash goes on very smooth. Love these.

Following the advice of the great hand-tool woodworker, Paul Sellars, I bought these specifically to apply shellac as a finish to my furniture projects. And they work a treat! It's easy to work quickly with them, I found they barely shed a single bristle (which can't be said of most inexpensive brushes!) and they were easy to rinse out with rubbing alcohol. Very happy with my purchase.

Sheds a lot of hairs its important for watercolors for this shedding NOT to happen.

I use these brushes for water coloring and I keep one in my kitchen for basting. The are well made and I have not had a problem with bristles falling ou like regular paint brushes can do.
