Worked on my vinyl boots!
Works well on vinyl for small fixes. Repaired pair of black boots with this kit. They were cheap but super sexy and got more compliments than all my real leather footwear combined, so it was worth the effort to fix it. Works super well for cracks and minor damage. But try something else for major repairs and peeling on large surface. Lots of instructions but easy to use after reading them. Used curling iron on low setting then turned off to set it instead of using small round tool that comes in kit. Worked better for a larger area that I needed to repair. Takes time and you have to follow all the steps but it works!

Too little
The bottles appear so big. NOT! I did some leather repair and used the red and brown. Only enough fluid to do a couple of inches.I would NOT purchase this again. Just a few weeks after applying according to directions, it's already wearing off. Sad to say the least.

Dreadful - ruined my couch
Followed the instructions *exactly* and the result is far worse than original tear damage. The dye did not dry despite my applying the heat tool exactly as instructed, heated up on an iron, using a laser temperature probe to ensure temp was right. I then waited for 24 hours. When I peeled back the texture path, the entire gooey mess came off with it, leaving a gaping wound showing. Wish I had left the couch as it was, even the original tear was better than the awful mess that now shows.And I doubt that the top reviews here are authentic. All lower case, only first names used, all grouped around the same date? That looks like solicited reviews to me. Avoid.

Great kit, but I found that using a hair dryer worked better than trying to heat the little dohickey to cure the paint that comes with the kit

Disappointed as I am needing to repair this to use ...
Ordered this item and a critical item was missing: the vinyl adhesive and filler. They provide an excessive amount of colorant, but no filler. Disappointed as I am needing to repair this to use in 4 days (received product 2 weeks ago and didn’t check it for “parts” then) and will not be able to receive a replacement in time to make the necessary repair.
