Story Orchestra: In the Hall of the Mountain King: Press the note to hear Grieg's music (Volume 7)

I bought all of these books, and I am leaving this same review on all of them. My two-year-old loves them! The music is very clear as long as you hold the book upright, and, to be honest, I am surprised by how clear it is even when it's laying down. The illustrations are beautiful, and there are so many things to look at on each page! For instance, in the Four Seasons book, there are easter eggs in spring, and on one page in another book, there is a tiny spider. I could talk to my toddler about one page for five minutes easily because there is so much to look at. In some of the books, there are some thoughtful illustrations to demonstrate the instruments being played. In the Carnival of Animals book, there is a bunny playing a flute, for instance, when there is music that is mostly played by flutes. Also my toddler is able to press the buttons. It is a little hard, but he manages it okay. Well worth the price tag!

I have ordered several of this musical adventures. The children aged from 4 to 7 enjoy reading them, pressing the buttons and listen. It is a wonderful introduction to classical music. Keep publishing more. The illustrations are excellent and it wakens their imagination. Well done.

El libro es muy bonito, encuadernado en tela, con la historia sencilla pero bien contada y fragmentos adecuados. Sin embargo, nos lo han entregado con las pilas gastadas, de modo que la niña no pudo estrenarlo al recibirlo. Una decepción absoluta

Dieses Buch könnte so schön sein. Traumhafte Bilder und auch die Musik ist wunderschön. Wir kennen die Stücke bereits und meine Tochter liebt sie. Voller Vorfreude haben wir auf das Buch gewartet und dann fühlte ich mich verarscht. Meine Freude wurde schnell zu Enttäuschung und das schlimmste für mich war, dass meine Tochter so extrem enttäuscht war.Wir drücken den Musik Button und die Melodie kommt….für etwa 4 Sekunden….schweigen und dann Enttäuschung pur. Die Melodie fängt an und hört sofort wieder auf.Ich bin wütend wirklich, denn ich hätte sofort alle Bücher dieser Reihe gekauft, wären die Melodien länger. Wir haben andere Bücher dieser Art die günstiger sind, dennoch die Melodien viel länger.Ich gebe gerne 30 Euro für ein Buch aus, aber dann soll auch gefälligst die Melodien und Lieder so lange sein, das es den Preis auch entsprechend wert ist.Tolle Idee, aber schlecht umgesetzt für ein Kinderbuch. Die Bilder ein Traum, die Melodien zu kurz.Manchmal kommt auch gar keine Melodie.Geht sofort zurück.

This whole Story Orchestra range is incredible and while this book holds a special place in my heart, thus far Vivaldi’s Four Seasons has been the winner in our household.
