Plano 36" All Weather Tactical Case 108364 Replacement Foam Inserts (1 Piece)

I bought my Plano rifle case over ten years ago with the pluck and pull foam that came with it. It served its purpose but starting to pull apart after many uses. I found the full foam piece on Amazon and wow! what a difference. For starters the replacement piece is firm and solid. So much better than the pluck foam. It fit like a glove but it was thicker, in height, not by much than the original but not a deal breaker. I had to really close the cover, probably because it was new. Overall good quality foam, competes with my pelican case (3 times the cost for the case) but the foam is comparable. Pelican case itself is still more solid. I would strongly recommend the replacement foam because it fits like factory and looks like it will hold up to trunk abuse for a fraction of name brand foams and cases. I just received the foam and working out the folds (in came folded) and will provide a at-work update to see if it will hold up. I keep my case in the trunk during a 10-hour shift in Vegas heat and will update on its performance. But in the meantime it’s a quality upgrade for the fraction of the cost of other foams and fits like a drop-in and ready foam. It does however need to be cut to fit, but that will be another review with a pictures update. So far, really impressed with the quality and fit. I would recommend for those trying to replace the annoying pluck style foam. I don’t always agree with the reviews but this product is on point. In my opinion, it won’t disappoint as far as quality. How you cut it, link a video, it would help.

Nice quality foam. The density is great for my purpose. Very snug fit in the case. Doesn't come out when I take items out of the foam. I didn't do the best job cutting the silhouettes for the items but not too bad for my first time.

Great fit, great quality, does its job!

This foam is an almost perfect replacement fit for the original pluck and pull foam currently shipped with the Plano All Weather Tactical case. The foam is cut a bit short lengthwise, almost about .5 inches too short. It's not too bad when installed, but there are noticeable 1/4" gaps on the ends. Widthwise, this was perfect, and since it fit well on the longer edges, made it stay put. The radius cut corners, however, are not a match to the original foam, as the original foam has a larger radius to better match the profile of the case.The foam seems to be excellent quality. Its not an exact color match, but didn't seem to be too much off and I really didn't mind at all. I used a hot wire cutter and this foam cut extremely well. This is definitely much better than the original pluck and pull foam. Having solid foam made the case seem much more professional looking.

I wanted to reconfigure my Plano tactical rifle case with something better then pick-n-pluck and this solid foam did the trick. Just take your time laying out and tracing outlines, then carefully make cutouts. A long sharp blade will work but for precise cutting I highly recommend using a hot wire foam cutter. They aren't hard to make and there are plenty of videos out there showing how. Very happy with this product and will definitely buy again when the need arises.

This foam fits my 36” Plano All Weather case. This foam is actually a little thicker, almost 1/4 of an inch. Quality is a lot better, it’s is harder than the Plano pluck away foam that came with the case.It’s going to look great after I cut it with a hot knife to fit my rifle.

Easy to cut. Fit great . It is more work than the pluck foam but it holds the gun in place a lot better
