Not suitable for use with monofilament line
The media could not be loaded. These hooks are quite large and beefy. I’d say they are too big and long as they are visible above the tops of some of the frames that I hung. I tried using them with 1.4 mm monofilament fishing leader but the hooks wouldn’t reliably grip the line. I’m not sure if this is because they are only intended to be used with wire, but I have used similar products that would securely grip monofilament line and were more compact. In the end I just tied a knot in the line so the hooks would stop sliding down. I wouldn’t recommend these hooks.

Works as described
I really like the fact that you don't have to press the button to make the hook go up, only down. I haven't hung anything very heavy with them yet, but just pulling down they seem very sturdy.

Exactly what I was looking for
I needed some adjustable hooks to hang paintings on my walls. These hooks worked exactly the way I wanted. Super easy to slide up and down the wire and locks into position once the button is released.

Poor finishing resulting in malfunction.
Good price but poor finishing resulting in malfunction due to metal flash and debris in the inner flange, insufficient spring tension, gauges from machining and lopsided occluded entry holes. I had to disassemble, rebore, deburr clean out and reassemble every one of these. They work fine now
