But here's the amazing part - it actually makes scooping effortless even with ice cream straight from the freezer. I don't have to wait for it to soften or struggle to dig through it anymore. Just cuts right through like butter and gives you perfect round scoops every time. The gray finish looks really sleek and professional too. Way nicer looking than those cheap colorful scoops. Feels like something you'd see in a real ice cream shop. It's dishwasher safe which is great because hand washing ice cream scoops is annoying. Comes out looking brand new every time. The size is perfect - not too big that you're making giant portions, but substantial enough that you're not there all day trying to fill a bowl. Even works great for other stuff like cookie dough, sorbet, frozen yogurt, whatever. Versatile enough that it's become my go-to scoop for anything frozen. I've had it for months now and it still works exactly like the day I got it. No wear, no issues, just consistent perfect performance. This is definitely one of those "buy it for life" kitchen tools. This is, by far, the best ice cream scoop I have ever owned. It's the perfect shaped scoop for easy scooping and creates perfect "scoops". The handle is also a great material that feels great in the hand and is easy on the wrist. It is definitely heavy duty and very well-made. I have owned many ice cream scoops in my life. This in the ONE! I recommend it highly.

I really love this ice cream scoop! It is ergonomic, the handle is something that feels like silicone and is easy to hold, the scoop is a perfect size and works beautifully. I bought this to replace an ice cream scoop that I purchased at the grocery store, very low quality, one day the scoop just separated from the handle. This is much better in every aspect. I do not wash it in the dishwasher, wallet might be fine to do so, I am not taking any chances. It’s really easy just to quickly hand wash. I don’t know about heat retention, but I think if you ran this under warmer hot water before scooping really hard ice cream that would help. I personally microwave the ice cream for 15 seconds if it’s rock hard or just leave it out for about 10 minutes. I suspect that the metal would retain some heat from hot water and would likely scoop hard ice cream like butter, but I haven’t tried it. Definitely doesn’t add any weird taste to my ice cream. That’s one of the prompts for the review. I’m not sure why. In summary it’s easy to use and easy to hold, even in my hands which are slightly arthritic and have some carpal tunnel damage.

Our favorite ice cream is rock hard right out of the freezer but it's doable to scoop out the ice cream with this scoop. It works better than any of the spring loaded type scoops that we've ever used and it works as well as the scoops we've used that have the antifreeze in them. I like that this can go in the dishwasher, unlike the scoops with antifreeze. This is a very sturdy implement. You can tell it's going to last forever. And it's attractive.

This is a nice ice cream scoop. It has a nice ergonomic and comfortable grip and is heavy duty. It's lasted well even through many dishwasher washings over the last few months.

I’ve been using this scoop regularly, and it works exceptionally well on ice cream straight from the freezer. It forms clean, round scoops and reaches container corners easily, and cleanup is simple since it’s dishwasher-safe. The scoop is on the heavier side, but the build quality and performance make it worth it.

Took weeks to arrive to me in Canada but looks great and works well. Price is a little steep. 4/5
