the easiest
if you are looking for a rest that is easy to set up and works no matter the conditions, the whisker biscuit is the rest to get. you can spend more money on a rest too, with micro adjust and camo, but this one will do everything the other rests will do. there is a lot of discussion about the way the bristles affect arrow flight. as with anything else on your bow, consistency is the key to accuracy. obviously the bristles touch the fletchings. and my fletchings get the dark streaks from that contact. but accuracy has never been an issue. and i have never had this rest pull fletchings off unless the fletching was loose to begin with. you can spend more and get more complicated with your rest, but you dont have to. this one will do the job well.1/28/15 update: i see 0 of 1 found my review helpful. i wonder if they didnt like my review, or the product i was reviewing. there is a lot of hype and propaganda about archery equipment nowadays. i shoot whisker biscuits on 3 of the 12 bows in my house. i have no sponsers, nor do i feel "brand loyalty" for products, since i paid my own money for them. you can get pretty fancy with your rest, drop aways and such, and there are even fancier models of the biscuit with more adjustment options. i like this one because set up is quick and painless and tho it puts the "dark mark" on my fletchings, it has not affected accuracy in a negative way for me on any bow i run one of these on. i have never had a biscuit fail. even whisker replacement is easy. so as i alluded to in my review previously, this is a GREAT arrow rest and i would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. btw, there are certain bows that require a little different configuration, so make sure that the biscuit you choose fits your specific bow.

Great For Kids
I like to put these on my kids bow and arrows. They hold the arrow in place and it won't come loose. Honestly trying to get kids in the 8 to 10 age range to use the little tiny holders they come with causes half of them to give up and move on. These keep the arrow put so all they have to focus on is pulling back and aiming. I expect it should last a long time for the application.

Simple and works
This appears to be a genuine whisker biscuit but it came packaged strangely in a zip lock bag. I do not believe it was ever used but it is definitely a display model as there are adjustment marks from the windage screw. There were not any install marks on the mount and the bristles on the biscuit were fully intact. I am glad these are available at discount prices on Amazon as there is no way these paint brushes are worth the $50 that Trophy Ridge tries to get for them.

Clean Shots All the Time
At the time I am writing this I have been shooting for over a year. I bought my first compound bow used. The old arrow rest had three prongs with rubber tips, equidistant from each other. The gaps between them were larger than my arrows (Easton Genesis 1820s). This meant the arrow would fall off the rest or that it would not accelerate as fast as it could. y old rest also damaged the vanes by leaving scuff marks or even ripping them off entirely. This whisker biscuit changed all that! Shots go clean through which means no more scuff marks on my vanes.

Have used whisker biscuits on my bows for at least 10 years.
Unless you are a competition shooter, the whisker biscuit is hard to beat for hunting purposes. When stalking, having an arrow ready in my rest and not having to worry about it popping out of it is very nice. I have never had any problems with vanes peeling back. If that's happening to you, maybe you not applying enough glue on when putting your vanes on or you should spend a little more money on a better quality arrow (vanes already on..) setup. I've even used feathers and had no problems. As for accuracy, I'm shooting a 6 inch group from 40 yards just fine. It may slow the arrow speed down some, but as long as I'm hitting where I want to hit and most of my shots are going clear through the animal at 45 yards or less, (not one to shoot farther than that at an animal...) I'm happy.

You can't go wrong with this!
Finding a good arrow rest can be an almost endless process. But the Trophy Ridge whisker biscuit is a prover arrow rest that has been around for years. And it performs flawlessly! If you are new to archery, this is the way to go. More seasoned archers prefer drop away rests. However, I'm teaching my son to shoot. And the whisker biscuit can shoot an arrow even if you don't knock the arrow with the arrow vanes in the proper location. This makes it great for low light conditions and for novice archers. So you just can't go wrong with such a forgiving rest.

NOT "ONE SIZE!" This is the LARGE!
I like this product, but the listing is inaccurate! There are three sizes of these available, even shown in the pictures of the listing! There was no way to tell what size I was ordering. The large is 0.38" diameter, so my 0.304" arrow would flop around if I tried to use this. Returned and ordered the Medium.

It works well
With so many videos and controversy on this rest, what can I add? I saw no difference in speed on my Chrono. The only detail that could be a negative is I noticed that it started eating the vains on cheap arrows. I'm talking about a lot of shots though. Hundreds before I noticed. It does hold your arrow securely and straight. The price was $2 cheaper than Walmart.
