It's All About the Accessories for the World's Most Fashionable Dolls, 1959-1972

First, the item arrived in brand new condition. Paperback but large, easy to see photos that are in color. Hundreds of vintage Barbie accessories shown for the 50, 60, and 70s. Best part is they show value and cross reference what outfit name and # the accessory goes with or comes from, which is important because one pair of shoes might match several outfits or fashion paks. Good book for identifying what you already have or locating what you might be missing from outfits or sets.

I am in the process of selling my vintage Barbie collection and I ordered this book because it looked like it might be useful. Oh my goodness, WHAT A GEM!! This is the most helpful book I have found to help with all of the little Barbie pieces that I could no longer place with their outfit. Not only does this amazing resource offer an idea of what each piece might be worth on the open market but it tells you which outfits it was packaged with when new. It is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to sell or value their collection.

Little disappointed. I had expected more pictures and details. One picture doesn't identify a shoe. I need to know what the it looks like from all sides. What is there is nice, but I wanted much more.

It's mostly a catalog over Barbies shoes, and less over other accessories.

This will be a fantastic help in sorting out Barbie accessories -- such as hats, jewelry, shoes, and purses and other bits and pieces -- to match to my incomplete outfits. Excellent color photographs show items clearly in close-up. Although socks are included, I am surprised that hosiery (pantyhose, tights, and sheer or patterned stockings) was not listed. That's a big omission in such a detail-oriented book. Still, this is a welcome addition to my reference library.

Very complete guide to all of Barbie's hundreds of accessories. The book contains color photos of each piece with current price expectations at resale.

Il libro e per chi colleziona Barbie e il suo mondo .. ben fatto e curato. Come c’è nel titolo e dal 1959 al 1972, non è del tutto completo ma c’è tanto. Per chi colleziona e utile specie negli accessori più che negli abiti.Ottimo .

Schön übersichtlich, alle Accessoires sind nach Kategorien wie "Taschen", "Hüte", "Schuhe" und nach Puppen (Barbie, Ken, Francie, Skipper, Tutti und Todd) geordnet, so dass man sich gut zurecht findet.Im Gegensatz zu anderen, auch sehr guten Reference-Büchern, sind alle Accessoires sehr deutlich und groß auf guten Fotos abgebildet und somit Details besser erkennbar.Ein paar kleine Fehler haben sich eingeschlichen, z.B. fehlen einige Schuhfarben oder sind falsch zugeordnet, aber bei der Menge der gezeigten Artikel ist das wirklich nicht viel.Die Preisangaben scheinen mir zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt meist realistisch zu sein, so was kann aber natürlich schnell überholt sein.Für jeden Vintage- und Mod-Sammler, der Accessoires liebt (wer tut das nicht?) sehr zu empfehlen.
