This was the right one and works great

It cost me about 80 bucks to get this done including the cost of the Key. It was worth it and a lot less then going to the dealership. I am happy i purchased it and was able to program the Key Locks myself. Other than that i had to go to a lock smith to program it to work with my car. A++++

Great price and easy to program for my Scion XD. Local locksmith cut 2 for <$10 and I programmed them in a couple of minutes using the online instructions.

I bought these for our 2013 Scion TC. The buttons programmed without issue after going through the series of inserting the key in the ignition and opening/closing the door. The keys were cut and programmed easily by the locksmith. They open both doors and start the car but the buttons don’t function like they should. Sometimes you can unlock the passenger door and trunk with a second push of the unlock button and sometimes you can’t. They don’t work consistently. However, they do always unlock the driver door. Also, the panic button doesn’t work at all. A red light on the key should light up when pressed and it doesn’t even do that, much less activate panic mode. I wouldn’t buy these again.

Keys came with a fresh battery installed and a business card with link to instructions. When you go to the URL you enter your vehicles year, make, and model. That will bring up detailed instructions for programming the key. I printed my instructions out and read over a few times. I was able to program both keys on the first try. I had a local locksmith cut the keys. Very happy with the product and would recommend if you need a replacement.

This is the best price I found anywhere for this item. It comes with the URL for a website that tells you how to program the remote entry features. NOTE: The directions on the website are very precise and meant to be read literally. I had to go through the programming sequence several times before I figured that out. I regard this as my fault, not that of the manufacturer or the website. I took the key to my locksmith because I do not trust big box stores to cut important keys and even he had a bit of trouble getting the key to turn smoothly. I do not see that as the fault of the key, just a suggestion to consider seeing a locksmith because it will cost you $20 if the person cutting the key messes up. NOTE: When I had difficulty with the programming, I checked the battery following instructions found online. Removing the battery was VERY difficult.
