Works, but gets very hot
While this charger does seem to properly charge my 48V 13S e-scooter battery, it becomes quite hot in the process. Based on some internet searching, 140F is right at the limit for what is considered an acceptable operating temperature by UL's safety standards. More disconcerting though, is the melting plastic smell that this charger emits after it's been running for a few hours.I've since replaced this charger with a different model. That charger runs nearly 45F cooler, thanks to the addition of an internal fan, which is a feature missing from this charger. I would strongly recommend avoiding this charger and stretching your budget by a few extra bucks to opt for a fan cooled model instead.

Gets very hot, does not fully charge battery
This charger gets extremely hot. It is a lot smaller in size than any original charger. It has very small wires, much smaller than any original charger. The wire that has 5.5x2.1mm plug on it shows to be 24AWG, that is small. It will only charge a battery to about 75% and the light will never turn green to show a full charge. It gets extremely hot, it will burn your hand if you try to hold it. I needed a new charger for a VARUN S20-1 e-bike, after charging for 18 hours the battery was only 75% charged. I also tested it on a Lectric XP 3.0, it would not top off the battery it. It would not fully charge either e-bike. I am afraid to do anymore testing with it getting so hot, I am afraid it might burn the house down. Don't buy it, don't trust it, I don't think it is safe to use. I am returning it and will look for something else. I would give it a zero star rating if I could.

Runs a lil warm but does the job. Cycling about 4 batteries on this thing and its still running strong
