The small pieces have a cardboard base that folds easy. Take your time putting it together.

Cute Decorations, but Consider Getting Extra!
These table decorations were super cute and fit the space theme perfectly! The set came with 12 pieces, but since some were bigger and some were smaller, I wish I had ordered two sets to make the tables look fuller. If you're decorating multiple tables, getting an extra pack might be a good idea for a more balanced look. Overall, great quality and a fun addition to the party!
