Fit just like the original. A YouTube video showed me how. It is supposed to be an upgrade over the old one which was only 2 years old and sounded like a meat grinder. This one is very quiet. We'll see if it lasts. I will certainly never buy another Samsung refrigerator.

Fixed my Samsung refrigerator.

If your Galanz fridge/freezer from Costco only keeps food frozen on the bottom and not the top it's because the evaporator fan is dead and not bringing air from the bottom up. Luckily I caught it early and only had a few items on the top defrosted. Few searches later, I found out that this is a normal issue and I replaced the fan with one. Worked fine until I heard a loud rattle noise. Some more searches later and someone had the same issue and it was a plastic tab that is sticking out that is making this noise. Some said to melt it and sand it. I took an electric grinder and sanded it off. I reinstall the panels and seems to be holding well. Hoping it will last longer than 10 months.

Nothing wrong with it. it just didn’t fit the refrigerator. New Kenmore products have a variety of manufacturers which makes it difficult in getting a good part lookup.

So far so good. Samsung French door refrigerator running like it did brand new 5yrs ago, no more annoying loud hum.
