I’m late writing this review, just fyi clearly these guys have been played with a lot, as you can see in the photos where paint has rubbed off lol. So don’t think these arrived new in this condition, when we first got them they looked perfect. I love the elephant the best. I think the lion face looks a little strange/janky for a Schleich, BUT it’s very obvious in the product photo that his face looks like that so it wasn’t a surprise. I did see there’s a ‘new’ set with a different model of lion(mouth closed) so I would suggest getting that one if you don’t like how the roaring face looks.

I am in awe of how detailed each animal is made. My girl is 17 months old and I was looking for a set of animals for her to study and play with. I liked this one the most from those presented on Amazon and I was not wrong in my choice. My daughter has only been playing with them for several days. Simulates the walking of animals, etc. I am satisfied and recommend it. However, I am very concerned about the plastic it is made of and whether it is safe for my child to lick it off. Unfortunately, I couldn't find this information anywhere and for now I'm just trying to prevent the child from licking them, although it doesn't help. She still doesn't listen to me

Great Realistic looking animals! An excellent tool for teaching my toddler. Worth the money! Not cartoon looking at all.
