No One like Buying Ink
So we all know how it works, you by a printer and it's not that expensive but then after printing out a few hundred pages from online phonebooks to build an authentic old timee paper phonebook for your grandma you run out of ink. The icon on your screen flashes, lights on your printer goes off, and it makes you feel like a bad bad person for even trying to print with low ink. Well fear not, this ink will solve your woes. It will print you a world in vibrant hughes of the rainbow (assume your rainbow looks best in gray scale). It will print your tax forms, it will even print giant letters you can tape together to form a giant banner reading "Hooray for Ink". In short it will do exactly what it's supposed to do, and you'll love it. But like any good romance it won't last, and soon you'll take it for granted and it will start nagging you to change it. Then when you finally decide to it will give you that look when you take it out, reminding you of the good times, late night head cleanings, that special paper jam, the way it never mocked your horrible spelling. But you'll get over it and throw it out, after all we all know at some point you'll want a newer, younger model. One that's filled with ink rather then sorrow.

Epson branded ink runs out too quickly and is too pricey but ...
... this is as good a deal as I could find.I use an Epson XP820 mostly to print on CDs and DVDs - i like making my own labels. If I don't print often, there will be gaps in printed text, missing color bars, that kind of thing.I don't know whether that's due to the printer, or due to the ink.I will keep buying ink for it because it's a hobby. If it were for professional purposes I'd have to find another way.

This is PHOTO black, not the regular black for everyday printing
This is the original product from Epson and, no surprise, it works well with my XP-800. It's also more expensive than third parties. I noticed that some reviewers were complaining for the ink not lasting for very long. This is true and there are two explanations. First, Epson hopes to make some money by selling the printers cheap and then charging a lot for the ink or giving you very little ink for the cartridge. Whether we like it or not, most printer makers are doing this. The alternative is 'third party' cartridges that are less expensive and that may or may not work well. The second explanation is that this is the PHOTO black (PBK) cartridge, not meant to be used when printing black and white pages. The printer WILL be using the PBK if the regular black cartridge is empty so make sure that the BK has ink.Apparently there are some high capacity cartridges and their code is 273XL. I couldn't find them at Amazon.

Excellent, but...
Epson ink is excellent for photos, which is mostly what I base the quality on. I have been using Epson ink for years in various Epson printers and they have all been excellent quality. The reason I don't give it a 5 star rating is because they don't put the amount of ink in each cartridge on the package. And this isn't just Epson but all the major manufacturers. I can't think of any other product where the consumer is buying a liquid product in a container where the amount you are buying is NOT on the label. And this is not because I'm expecting a certain amount in the cartridge, but because it would give us all a chance to compare from company to company who was giving us a better deal. In addition it would allow us to evaluate the standard capacity cartridges to the high capacity cartridges to see if the extra cost is justified. The ink companies have gotten away with this for too long. It's time we all stood up and said something.

QUALITY beats cheap.
Friends kept telling me I needed to try the cheap ink. Works great, they said. You'll save a bundle, they said. So I did. I have an Epson XP-820 Expression Premium that had been working perfectly until I took all that wonderful advice and bought cheap ink. I understand that it may work for others, but it did not work for me. Within a few, a very few, copies the pages began getting lighter. I did the maintenance nozzle check (which was bad), and the head cleaning, which did no good. The printer drank the black ink like a cold beer, but I had a replacement (the cheap kind). I removed the plastic cap, and the little monster exploded black ink all over me. I was done. Immediately, after cleaning up the mess, I ordered Epson ink. Replaced the bad stuff with the good stuff, and was hoping to see an immediate fix but I was not expecting it. Because how many immediate fixes do you experience these days? But the very first page I printed was perfect! And they have kept on being perfect. Lesson learned.

This ink is a life saver although
It’s real..& it came in the original packaging complete with shrink wrap or the pull apart plastic that shows it hasn’t been tampered with. Only thing is I can’t remember if my printer was printing this way beforehand or not so this may not be any fault of this ink but it’s like “skipping”. Great ink though I 100% recommend

Have not a suitable comment at this time!
Both of the items in this split order Epson T078920 Claria Hi-definition Color Ink Multi Pack with 5 cartridges arrived as and when expected. The Cartridges have not performed in the Seiko-Epson XP-600 printer as the printer has NOT accepted them.I am currently attempting to communicate verbally with EPSON support as the standard stock technical advice on their website does not help.I have only had this printer since the beginning of last September and previous individual cartridges have performed as they should.I am reluctant to blame my recent order until I can get some intelligent advice from the printer Manufacturer! Thanks for your response system.....was waiting for positive answers!Al Epson T078920 Claria Hi-definition Color Ink Multi Pack with 5 cartridges

Bon produit
Pour mon imprimante xp61p. Un peu dispendieux mais on doit utiliser les cartouches originales de temps en temps.
