ACDelco GM Original Equipment 84628487 Front Driver Side Upper Suspension Control Arm

Have to determine what your LCA or UCA are made of. There are 3 variations that GM uses: steel, aluminum, and stamped steel. Reached out to GM site/rep via email who informed me that some are control arms are serviceable (can change out ball joint only) and some are not. After extensive research on which upper and lower arm to buy. I reached out to GM who told me that my truck (with stamped steel) is not serviceable and have to buy the whole control arm with the stock number associated with this product, however, the verification tool on Amazon said this product is not compatible with my truck. I bought it based on GM’s recommendation and it was the correct fit. So, I would suggest to use GM’s website to verify that their part # matches the product number of the part being sold on Amazon. Do not go by their compatibility tool, which I’ve found to be inconsistent on a majority of car parts that I have purchased on here.

Liked that this was an original equipment replacement part, so I was confident that it would work on my 2018 Silverado 1500 4x4. Replaced caster camber hardware at the same time and all worked well.

Amazon say part fit . I even ordered original manufacturer part for problem free. This project cost me four extra days without a truck. Please don’t waste what little time I have on the planet. Looking for rear of truck these do fit.
