without question, this is one of the best Amazon purchase I ever made, can't believe this thing is barely $20 more than my old "amazon choice" no.1 picked gaming chair, I bought into the hype on my old chair and it only lasted for 10 month. look at the size and build comparison of this chair and the old one, the thickness, arm rest, and cushion depth, who would believe it's $140 vs $120, but 10 fold upgrade.I'm a big guy at 6'1 175lbs, the old chair was advised to withheld 250lbs and it was definitely false advertising, bought it only because it was no.1 amazon picked item, but everything was disappointment, built quality was cheap, the back support and frame looks fragile, I developed all kind of back pain while sitting on it. And there was a very unpleasant chemical smell on it and stayed in the room for 2 weeks.So my expectation for getting a quality chair on amazon or internet was pretty low due to my last purchase, but this one completely changed my perspective to the point I deiced to leave a length review because I can't recommend this chair enough. None of the problem I had with last one existed, 0 chemical smell right out of the box, the surface probably made of PU plastic but it looks damn beautiful, can be mistaken as a $999 chair easily. Frame and back support are so firm it easily support me, my wife and my child when we were all sitting on it easily.This one is definitely the MVP of all adjustable office chairs

Comfort & Support for the Long HaulThis chair is a beast—in the best way! I needed something sturdy and supportive for long hours at the desk, and the COLAMY Big & Tall delivered. The wide seat and high back provide excellent comfort, and it feels incredibly solid with the metal base. Definitely built for heavier folks without sacrificing style or ergonomics.The only thing I’ve noticed is the backrest is a bit stiff when leaning back compared to other chairs I’ve owned. I’ve adjusted all the settings, so I’m hoping it’ll soften up with time. But even with that, it’s still easily a 5-star chair. Great support, premium look, and worth every penny!

It was easy to put together and seems sturdy but time will tell. The seat isn’t terribly comfortable. If I had sat on this in a store I probably would have skipped it.

Comfortable, elegant and super high quality. And, it was very easy to put together even though I did it by myself and am a female sage elder! The hardware was well organized and they even provide spares. The instructions were easy to follow. All of the hardware went into the assigned holes without issue. And they also provide a wrench with a comfortable handle. SO glad I was able to purchase this chair. IMPRESSED!!!

I have been using this chair for 2 weeks, and I am well under the weight limit for it. But the pneumatic device that keeps the chair elevated is already sinking/won't stay up, and the seat angles forward. I have adjusted and tightened everything I can, and it's still miserable. I want to return it so I can get a different chair (because i really need one), but it's too cumbersome to take apart and ship, so now I'm stuck with expensive useless junk.

I had my doubts with this one, only because I'm a big guy and chairs in this price range have failed me before. Now I'll admit, at the time of this writing, I've only had this chair for 24 hours, but I'm already in love with it. It just FEELS sturdy and well-built. It was super easy to put together, nothing complicated at all, comes with all the parts and tools you'll need. And it's VERY comfortable so far! The padding feels nice, not cheap.The one caveat I will say, and this is something that I like, but some people will hate. This chair DOES NOT RECLINE. This is fine by me, and is exactly what I want! I work from home, and I don't want to recline in it. I went to be able to lean back in my chair and not lay backwards. But I know there are some people who want that in an office chair, so be mindful of this when you buy.And now two months later I'm editing this review...I won't take a star off, but it's something to consider. The seat cushion does not breathe! The seat has tiny little pinprick holes that look like it would breathe, but now that it's getting hotter out, I almost want to put something between me and the chair because I'm sweating and sticking to the chair. It's not a dealbreaker, but something to consider in warmer climates or warmer months.
