I knew little about NavaratriThough it is a children’s book it was quite illuminating

It's a nice book for the children of 3 to 4 class.

This book gives short details about Nava Durga and other Shakthi in easy English, which would be useful for children who want to get introduced to Puranas

Tales are based on markandeya purana. Markendaya purana also includes myths.I don’t think these are real legends.
