Just a little wobbly but solid and durable otherwise.
As a handyman, I have installed dozens and dozens of this particular mailbox and I find it to be one of the better ones. Once you've put a a few together, you can bang them out in less than ten minutes. But if it's your first one, be sure to follow the directions in order. The hardest part is aligning the different sections to be screwed together. They never seem to line up right. You'll have to do some squeezing to fit it all together properly, but if you're careful, the results should be fine. My only gripe is the top half seems a little wobbly once assembled but there's not much that can be done about that. Being a very popular model, I see many of these around town and it amazes me how many are assembled or installed incorrectly or located too close to the road just begging to be plowed over. Just use your noodles people! It's best to dig a hole with a post hole digger about two feet from the edge of the street. Drop a 4 foot long pressure treated 4 X 4 exposing two feet or a little more. Add cement (50 to 60 lb bag) and water into the hole around the post using a spirit level to make sure it is plumb (level). The assembled mailbox will slip right over the post and the bottom should rest at ground level. As you are securing the mailbox to the wooden post, keep that level handy making sure it remains plumb. A set of 3" peel and stick reflective number decals should be applied but wipe the mailbox with a little alcohol first so they will stick better.

its ok but you need to know some things first
.1 it Does have a post but you STILL need a wood post in the ground. If you already have one on old mailbox just cut the mailbox off and slip this over once you put it together.2. put together from the top piece down. Trying any other way wont work. Because thw arehouse obviously creates these and stacks them on each other it is NOT a perfect fit and the screw holes are not holes....just spots and the screws need to be angled not straight down otherwise they pop back up. Do the two middle ones first These first two pieces do NOT snap together as it would seem - they have to be screwed in. The rest is simply going to the next piece and then the next fitting all pieces together backwards from the top. You need to screw the main lower mailbox into the below post to. Cut your post ( 12 to 18 inches from top of ground. You might be able to slide it on withit longer but use the screws so it does not get loose. It will get loose if you dont use the screws everywhere indicated.A regualar screwdriver works on top mailbox area but you will need a electronic screwdriver on the wood post area that it SLIPS over- this will Not work withou the wood post that it goes over. The main mailbox will need to be squezzed inward because when they get stacked in an warehouse they spread out so it doesnt appear to fit initially.People lose the screws because the people in the warehouse do not properly tape the box. This one had a open top because of the bad tape job and was missing a door piece for the back newspaper section. I dont get newspaper so Im fine but otherwise I would send it back.It is NOT small. Anyone who thinks otherwise has some issues. It IS bigger than the standard mailbox, same height but wider. The instructions SUCK. I used a picture to clue me to trying something I had not done to make it work but it does not stipulate the step. You pretty much have to use common sense to put it together but the instructions actually make it worse. Use the first picture with the first two pieces., the rest you can do without reading or looking at anything as it basically snaps together.. If you do it out of order > it will not be able to work so its alot less headache if you do it the way Im suggesting. You can use a regular sized screw driver but the screw at the bottom of newspaper slot needs to be done before attaching mail box to it otherwise you will need a short stubby screwdriver to finish the screw. It was not professionally packed. It appeared as if someone returned it and no one did there job to check to ensure all parts were included.Nothing needs to be modified, I dont see anything that would need modification and find that odd in the poster that mentions this. They technically are legally allowed to say mailbox with post as it does have one but they do not explain its hollow and not sturdy by itself so a wood post anchor is still needed. Most people should be able to utilize what is already in the ground and just gut the top off. Three stars because once done its great. Two less for bad instructions, a company that doesnt seem to care about what they produce or who buys it so long as they get their money and missing parts because of bad warehouse production employees> from the orginal company , not Amazon. Amazon takes pride in shipping out correctly and not allowing boxes to arrive partially open or weak. This didnt appear to ship from Amazon either as it appeared to ship from main warehouse to a person who then mailed it as well. You can find it cheaper at your local hardware store, I should have bought there but used this for the convienance but I am learning convienance does not equal worthy of my money or time.

Not worth the $$
I purchased this mailbox in May to replace the other one (another brand) that we had for over a decade. The other one lasted until it was plowed over by a van. This one didn't even make it through the first snowfall and the force of the snow snapped it off. Now it's junk and I'm out of a mailbox until spring. Buyer beware if you live in a cold climate.

Does NOT included the REQUIRED Anchor Post !
All-In-One Mailbox & Post Combo Kit does NOT include the REQUIRED Anchor Post! The product description does say that it installs easily over the Anchor Post. However, I was mislead by the "All-In-One" and "Post Combo" words to think that it included the REQUIRED Anchor Post! It does not! You need to purchase the Anchor Post kit separately! (I found the Anchor Post less expensive at Home Depot.)

Sturdy and not difficult to install
Easy to put together and install. I watched a YouTube video to understand how to put the mailbox together. The video is better than the instructions that come with it. Will need drill if you don’t have a strong grip like me. I bought the 6’ post and house numbers separately. And a 50lb bag of QuickCrete. The house numbers were purchased from Curb-n-sign from Amazon. My investment in a “post leveler” was worth it. I had to cut about 8” off the post so the mailbox would meet the USPS height requirements. I dug my hole about 24” and placed some gravel at the bottom of the hole for drainage before placing the post and pouring the bag of QuickCrete. I stabilized the post while the concrete hardened. After curing, I slipped the mailbox over the post (purchased separately). I secured the mailbox to the post with the screws provided. I then attached my house numbers with similar screws (galvanized). House numbers purchased separately. FYI: I moved my mailbox from my front porch to the street. I had to get permission from USPS before moving. I also had the underground gas line marked before digging.

Not Sturdy.
Purchased and installed mailbox in Oct, 2018. After approximately 15 months the glue holding the box upright has let go. Live in a relatively mild climate (vancouver island, canada) and the unit was never hit by a vehicle. Just very poor workmanship.
