Love this book. It has tons of activities to do outside from scavenger hunts to creative art pieces. This is a great way to get your kid outside and playing. Only issue I found was the stickers have certain pages they are supposed to go with and there is no way to keep them in order or with the page they go to.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a fantastic item and would make a wonderful gift. It begins with coming in an attractive box. Inside is the journal and enough stickers to complete the different challenges inside. Everything in this set is well made and very appealing to look at.You may have to help your littlest ones with the various challenges. PLUS, you may have to help excited children save these cute stickers for projects IN the journal. (They may want to put them everywhere, they are so cute!)Kids I know love doing things like this WITH the adults in their life. I am a retired music teacher and taught hundreds of kids each year, in addition to having my own kids and grandkids. So I am speaking from experience.(Once your child can read they could do much this on their own.)The whole journal is geared towards the outdoors.I would definitely buy this journal set for my own kids, were they young again. My grandkids will absolutely love this journal and stickers and the searches involved. They will also love having a special place to put the stickers that represent what they find in this well organized and intriguing journal. It seems it would be best to have one set for each child or I could envision some arguments over using everything in this set because it’s so appealing. I can also imagine a couple of ways you could share it, but you know your own kids best and would have to figure that out based on who they are.Whether or not your child loves the great outdoors, this will either be a way for those who already love going outside to celebrate what they find and collect or it will inspire kids less inclined to leave the house to go outside.The price seems fair for all that you get with it.I can’t give this a higher recommendation than 5 stars or I would!

This colorful activity journal is a great way to introduce children to the concept of nature journaling. The 32 page book measures about 6x8.5" and is spiral bound so it can lay flat. The pages are very thick and sturdy, and hold up well to little hands.Activities include a good variety of things to do outdoors, such as collecting nature specimen, listening walks, drawing, scavenger hunts, etc. Additionally, you receive stickers that you can use as "badges" to mark completed challenges. There is a pocket in the back for storing the stickers, which is a useful feature.I think one way to improve this product would be to include a small muslin or cotton drawstring baggie to let kids collect some of their nature treasures. I would have also preferred to have the binding not be plastic. Other than that, the journal is a great way to get kids outside and practice their ability to notice things around them.

I like this PlayMonster Craft-Tastic Scavenger Hunt Journal. It comes with a lot. We like things that relate to nature.We really like craft kits. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something.It is nice because they can spend the time doing it and then they have something special to keep. They are excited when they make something themselves.This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home. It is a good way to keep a child busy.I would recommend it.

My daughter was so excited to open this and bring it on a nature walk only to open it and there were no stickers. Ordered a replacement and hoping the replacement has them :/

This is a fun nature journal—it combines drawing, finding outdoor objects and adding stickers, which are included. For every page that requires outdoor activities, there’s a page that can be worked on indoors too. This isn’t something that can be finished quickly, and it makes a nice keepsake once completed. Our six year old nature lover very much enjoys working in her journal—the directives inspire creativity as well.
