Good light for Videos
I primarily use this light for either a video prop or lighting in my videos. It was super easy to use right out of the box. Build quality isn't all that great. It feels like cheap plastic but the lighting, colors and effects are great. Lately I've been using this light stick for a lot more situations because its so convienent to grab and set up.

Does its thing but a lower quality than usual from Ulanzi
First, the light does work. Has proper 360 HSI adjustability along with saturation and brightness. The brightness is acceptable, not blow your eyes out bright but not too dim to be useful either. I purchased two of these and tuning both to the same settings does produce the same output. There is a LED display that is clear and fairly simple to operate with 4 buttons to change modes, color and brightness. It does have some of the vanity modes like police car and lightning that do work though not in my typical workflow so other than testing that they work haven't done much more. The lower quality comes in two things, first the light itself including the lighting end is really light and feels cheap. I'm a bit nervous of bumping it too hard as it seems like it will crack or break. The second thing is the power button, which is a recessed slide switch and to slide you have to push to get enough grip to slide it and it is cheap feeling like it will break by cracking inward from the pressure. I have been using my fingernail to catch the end of the switch to slide it on and off and that works ok. One thing I didn't thing I'd miss it that there are no magnets in the ends for impromptu mounting. This isn't a flaw but more of an observation that I didn't think I really needed it until I didn't have it like I do on other lights. Hope this helps!

Works great!
Works as described! It takes a bit of time to get familiar with the settings, but it's definitely a great buy for the price!

A great light for newbies
I got my first mirrorless camera a few weeks ago and I am trying to learn the ins and outs of photography and videography. Since I still have no idea what I am doing, I am trying not to spend a ton of money on lighting and other equipment until I have a bit more experience. This light wand is at a great price point and good enough for a newbie to use to experiment with. It is also battery powered so I don't have to worry about outlets. It's also light in wight such that I can hang it off a magic arm from the camera's cage. It's kind of unwieldy when you do that, but it's nice that you can!

Not user friendly
I found it very confusing to use. I was looking for something that was simpler to use.
