A FIRST AID MUST
Working in a metal fab facility small cuts abound. These work great, close the wound and gets folks on their way.

Good for level sealing
First time I used these. Did not hold after two days but maybe because it was in an awkward place , at the base of my thumb

These are good
Recently had a tummy tuck and had a spitting stitch. I put this over the wound and it closed it right up! I put a large bandage over it for added protection.

Must have for first aid kits
This order was to refill the depleted stock in our first aid kit because this type of wound closure is a vast improvement over plain butterfly or sterile-strips. Hospitals use this same type of closure now after surgeries since they are so effective and easy to use and remove. My mom had hip replacement surgery in early 2022, and instead of sutures or staples her incision was closed with a much larger version of this style of bandage. They're a better way to close a gaping wound when you need to take quickly action prior to going to the doctor's office or ER. You can still use wound pads and gauze to wrap such injuries, but with those you need to be concerned about wrapping the limb/digit too tightly and cutting off circulation or nerve sensation. Using this zip-closure bandage can help alleviate the potential damage from too tight bandages or tourniquets. These bandages won't stop a gash/deeper wound from bleeding, and they aren't really meant to. What they do, and do well, is help minimize the wound opening to help prevent dirt or contaminants from getting in until you can seek professional medical attention. Keeping the edges of a wound together also helps reduce the potential for the wound becoming larger (skin tearing with movement), fat globules coming out of the wound area (if the cut is deep enough) and creating a permanent depression at the wound site, and scarring (especially if there is a delay in getting treatment to close the wound). Of course you should still use absorbent padding and gauze wrap over the top of this bandage to help staunch blood flow and keep the wound covered and clean. Having this type of wound closure in your home and vehicle first aid kits truly is incredibly helpful. These aren't cheap, and they aren't meant for minor scratches and scrapes where a simple, normal bandaid would suffice. But the moment you need one, it's easy to understand why this type of first aid supply is truly worth the cost.

Doesn't work
This product is terrible. It looked great in theroy, but the application is difficult. It fell apart and was so stuck together that it broke on application. I gave it one star because there wasn't a zero option.

Quick. Efficient. Effective. Highly recommend keeping them on hand for small emergencies.
We seem to use these a lot around our house. So, when these came up on my Vine list, I let out an excited squeal and ordered them. The kids are always into something and occasionally that results in tears and small lacerations. These take care of both without a trip to the Doc in a Box for emergency stitches.Just make sure everyone’s tetanus shots are up to date. Missing his tetanus shot proved fatal for our dog when I was a kid, so it is important. This is the first time I have come across the triple repair closures. Very handy.I was the first one to need them of course. The garden has some sort of horrible weed that I cannot get rid of. It is a fast-growing vine with long, heavy-duty thorns. Even with long sleeves and gloves it gets me sometimes. It’s kind of like wrestling hidden barbed wire fencing.I cleaned the wound and stuck one of these on the laceration on my leg where the vine got me.It stays in place for several days allowing you to keep the wound clean at the same time.A bit of Aquaphor healing ointment and these will fix a small laceration right up. Expensive, but effective. Less expensive and faster than a trip to the ER however.I highly recommend you keep these on hand.
