This was just what I needed to turn down on my lathe. It was a very good aluminum blank.

This is very good quality aluminum for turning parts from. Turns smooth and true w no heat distortion, wish I could find it locally but I can't so I will order again when I use this bar up

I gave 3 stars because the bar was bent in the middle. From end to end, the bend is probably 1/8". Also, it may be out of round by a couple of thou. This does not hurt me that bad for my use, but setting up my lathe with the independant 4 Jaw Chuck is a bit tricky. When I get two of the jaws on zero, the other two are out by at least 1.5 thou. This means that I have to take off more skin than is nessasary to get a perfect round.
