Light Mountain Henna Hair Color & Conditioner - Red Amber Spice Hair Dye for Men/Women, Organic Henna Leaf Powder and Botanicals, Chemical-Free, Semi-Permanent Hair Color, 4 Oz

I waited a while before writing this review. I wanted to give my honest opinion after washing, drying and styling. The color is beautiful, stays in after washing with sulfate free shampoo and is beautifully conditioned. It contains quite a bit of product, directions and gloves. The Best I’ve tried so far.

I've used henna for over 30 years, so I'm very experienced in mixing and application. When mixing this, it didn't look right, because it was very dark. I went to their website to double check the color, then went forward with the application. I should have listened to my intuition and experience and tossed the mix. I chose this color for gold and red highlights, o. brown hair but got a dark brown color after 2 hours. I'm very hesitant to use any color from them, other than their light golden red color.

I like that it’s a natural product and they have many different pretty colors. If you follow directions, it makes hair shiny and soft. Also no parabens, which can be hormone disrupters

I've been using light mountain henna hair color for 10 years. Red. This color was supposed to be amber spice red, it turned my hair green and brown. This was a bad batch. I have never had anything like this happen in 10 years.

this color is so pretty, my pic doesn't do it justice. it really brought out the red in my hair. I am a redhead who went blonde and now I was looking for a natural red look. this was perfect! it really really looks like my natural red, much more so then any salon color ive had done in the past.

This brand of dye is good, but the packaging is misleading. If you’re looking for a lighter color than their classic Red, this is NOT IT. This box of dye contains henna and indigo. Indigo is going to make your hair brown. If you’ve never dyed your hair before, you might end up with a light auburn using this dye. However, if you’ve ever lightened or dyed your hair before, be prepared for a darker brown with a possibility of green/blue. I’m a natural ginger and I bleached my hair a year and a half ago. I later henna’d over the bleach, but it was noticeably lighter than the rest of my hair. The indigo in this dye took VERY well on the bleached parts, and my hair is now a medium brown. This will work fine for me because it evened things out and I can put more red over it soon. If you only want red/copper, stay away from this one. If you’re looking for a lighter red: find something with henna and cassia.

I'm really glad I tested this henna on a hairball. I want to brighten my red, not make my hair darker. "Red Amber Spice" has indigo in it! Why?

Was a little disappointed, The Color wasn't at all what it said it would Be . Brought the Auburn Color .
