They are very well insulated, with double jacketed insulation. 100% copper wiring inside, as advertised. The MC4 connectors are very strong and thus can be hard to remove and reconnect if you're working on your solar setup. They're easy to install, and look very professional if you use wire clips. The AWG rating is not 100% accurate as the insulation makes it look a bit bigger. They perform well and have minimal power loss, I measured .05 ohms resistance throughout a 10ft run. So good, I used the spare wire to connect the batteries to the charge controller. Their customer support is great as well, when I got some defective ones with breaks, they sent me new ones right away! Shipping was late but that's Amazon's fault.
