Love love love this bag. I just need it to have one thing...a way to separate things. Otherwise this bag is big enough and very durable.

I normally do not carry a purse. I tuck my slim wallet and phone in my jeans and out I go. But I’m a potterhead so I needed to get this bag. My challenge is finding reasons to use it because it’s awesome.Now for the review, it’s a great bag. Large tote makes it perfect for outings and traveling. I usually like bags/backpacks with zippers for security reasons. However, the big opening made it easier to reach in and grab what I needed while I was on the plane (book, tablet, charger, chips, etc). So I can live without a zipper I guess. Nice burgundy color with gold writing. Very classy for a Harry Potter product.Packaging was good. Comes with plastic over the straps and school emblem to keep them safe and scratch free. The bag itself was in a big plastic bag.Finally, Yes the inside of the bag smells bad. I rubbed the inside with a dryer sheet and left the sheet in there for a week or two. Smells fine now. It’s an easy fix. I don’t usually shove my face in the bag and inhale deeply so it doesn’t bother me. Figured the bad smell will dissipate over time.Great price and quality for a Harry Potter product in my opinion.

I bought this bag to use for work - it's a great size. I carry my laptop, keys, wallet, notebook, a baggy of pens/pencils, and medications in it and could carry more items if I wanted to. I absolutely loved it and received tons of compliments on it. I used it every work day from the time I bought it through now.Recently, it started to fall apart in 2 areas. The material on the handles started to peel off on the sides in strips and the canvas on the interior started separating from the walls of the bag. To be fair, this is purely cosmetic - the seams on the bottom and where the handles connect are still in great shape - the bag is still completely functional. However, I'm a little disappointed by these cosmetic issues. Not sure if it's fair to expect the bag to hold up to such heavy near-daily use for this long but considering the price I wanted more out of the bag.I still think it was a worth-while purchase...I loved it while it lasted. I just wish it lasted a bit longer.

It was way better than expected, had no smell. Very impressed with the interior, suede like .. after receiving this bag, I'd absolutely pay double. I'm absolutely in love!!

I have wanted this tote bag for so long and when I finally got it, I was not disappointed. I love it so much, it is my new work bag I take to school!

I love it! It’s not as sturdy as I would have imagined it to be. The material is thinner than expected but I still like it. It smelled funny when arrived but it goes away. Personally, don’t think it’s worth $50. $30-$35 sure. But the name is what you’re paying for I guess.
