Evoshield EvoCharge Batter's Elbow Guard

Overall, great product. The molding was very easy. Nice fit. Comfort is good. Not great. The strap hits at the bend in her elbow. I think it’s a bit small for her. Went by some of the reviews and bought my 14U daughter a youth size. She is thin (110 lb) and has long arms. Not sure youth size is right for her. Didn’t think about the length of her arms, only thought about the circumference. I think this is why the strap hits at the bend. Added some pics as well. This is our first elbow guard. I hope I’m not mid-stating that it fits small. It just looks small to us.

My son just started kid pitch for baseball, and this gives him confidence when he goes up to bat. There's lots of crazy and wild pitchers because all of the kids are just starting to learn how to pitch. This guard was easy to mold and very solid when dried. It feels harder than a cast, and I can see how it will be able to protect your arm if it gets hit. I recommend molding it a little looser to your arm because when you sweat it gets harder to put on if even a little snug.

It was a little uncomfortable at first and it does take a lil bit of time to get use to. But, you do feel a bit more protected in the elbow area!! Very very sturdy and top notch product!!!

When we purchased this item, the elbow guard was laid flat and very soft. We were looking for the elbow guard with the hard shell. Unfortunately we returned it and bought another one. The 2nd one was exactly the same, soft and no shell BUT I ended up convincing my child to just keep the elbow guard because it would still protect her elbow, there's just no hard shell. We put it on her elbow (make sure when you put it on, it fits perfectly and not crooked) and one we put it on her, the elbow guard started to solidify making a hard shell!!! I didn't know it did that! This whole time I thought I bought the wrong one! There's a good chance I didn't follow instructions. I recommend this product, it does it's job. Be sure to measure. My teenager had an elbow circumference of 10.5 and we bought the adult size. It does look a bit big for her BUT it will serve it's purpose for the long run.

First and foremost: this does the job - protects the elbow from taking a direct shot from a baseball! The best feature is that it custom molds to your elbow once you open the package (be aware that you have to allow 30 minutes for it to set into place after you open the package. It comes with a roll of gauze so that you can wrap it into place while it molds). So the fit is going to be good. I also like that the elastic band that holds the guard into place on the arm can be attached and detached from both sides. The simplicity of the design is a plus.The main drawbacks are that the band is not the most comfortable in place. It could be made of softer material than it is, and it takes a bit of fiddling with it to make it comfortable enough to swing with it in place. Also, it is not exactly the easiest thing to attach to your arm since you have to do it with your free hand. However, like most things, it gets easier with repetition.

Bought this for my son for high school baseball. Was super simple to form, and I am glad it had the caution on the outside so I did not open it until it was time to form it to his arm. Piece of cake. Still waiting on how he feels after it's TRUE first use. So far so good.

Works as intended, easy to mold so long as you don’t wrap it too tightly on a smaller kid’s arm (then becomes too tight to put on or take off). A bit pricey but far cheaper than an Emergency Room visit. My son has used these for a few years now and has taken about three hits to the guard. Each time it has done the job of protecting him well; no elbow injury yet.

Got this for my 11 year softball player and she loves it. It's saved her a few times from some bad pitches which is why I got it. It molds to the person to make a personalized fit which is awesome because my daughter is small and not all one size fits all works for her, but since this molds to the person it fits them perfectly. I got the leg and elbow guards.

My 10yr old loves his. He hasn't been hit in the elbow yet, but it gives him a little more confidence to stand in there at the plate. Easy to mold to his elbow, and he says it's really comfortable. It should easily last him a couple of seasons before he outgrows it.
