Such a diversity of reviews on this item. Mine is positive with my first time use today. Of course my experience is my own, which is with a ShopVac. The circumstance was cleaning out debris which a rat left in my car engine after setting up a "home" - plant material of various sizes and cotton-like stuffing which clogs this tool for sure. I learned how to manipulate it to make it work for me, as I will describe.I unwrapped the bent crevice tool as delivered and set a heavy item on it overnight so that it would "almost" straighten out. The slight curve was advantageous for me (might be an issue under the refrigerator though because it wasn't completely flat; I could have warmed it) getting around the engine parts. The greater length compared to the 10" crevice tool which came with my ShopVac really helped, along with the slimmer - and not round - design.For the plant material, I could suction the pieces to the tool and then withdraw the tool from the engine and remove them. For the stuffing, which definitely clogged the inside (not unexpected), I was definitely frustrated until I realized I could separate the tool from the piece that attaches to the hose and vacuum out the material (given the amount, I had to do this repeatedly). This is at the joint of the flat part inserting to the round part of the handle to the hose. Incidentally, the 1/4 to 1/2 inch adapter to attach the new tool was appreciated, because I needed it.Summary... the tool works within its limitations of size. Play with it.

Very pleased with this vacuum attachment for slim spaces. Worked great for my dryer vent. Because the airflow is tight, I removed clogs a few times with a coat hanger. Great results. Tight fit on attachments and a variable size adaptor was included. Well designed and I'm pleased with this additional attachment to my shop vac for tight space applications made easy.

I bought this without many expectations and before opening the bag it came in I tested the diameter to make sure it fit my vacuum.I used it to remove drywall dust that accumulated it a 1/2 inch space crevice, and my regular crevice tool did not fit in the space. This attachment worked well and it reached far. The suction will mostly depend on your vacuum’s strength, so I think for my vacuum it worked fine.The quality of the tool is ok. It’s a harder plastic than one might expect, so the flexibility will improve if you heat it with a hair dryer, warm water, or a heat gun in low setting.

This adapter is a good idea, but they should have designed it better. The ends insert into the flexible tubing, when they should slip over the outside. The ID of the flexible tubing would be a good size, but when you insert the ends they reduce the ID's to a point where anything more than fine dust and loose dirt will instantly clog it up. Even a small asian beetle won't fit through it.

Never saw anything like it really! I bought it to suck the dust balls out of the lint trap in our dryer, LOL! Moldable and shapeable to fit any obscure angle or turn. It is also great as a 2 foot extension for cleaning up crumbs around our base cabinets in the kitchen, or cobwebs in ceiling or window corners. So much easier than crawling on my hands and knees or getting the step stool. Works great in the car for tight spaces. And we live in AZ (the hot part)! So when I need to get it to flatten back out, I simply lay it on a flat surface outside, and voila, it's flat again!

I disliked the fact that it clogged very easily. Even cleaning up dog hair was a major problem for it. A waste of money.

Near useless, it clogs when sucking up pretty much anything. maybe if it came with a long pipecleaner I could constantly unclog it. If it had a wider cross section it would work much better. Understandably it won't fit into as tight spaces but I don't know where I would be reaching to clean that's that tight but wouldn't just immediately clog as soon as it sucks something up.

I read the mixed reviews on this, but went for it anyways. I had sand and dirt deep in my dryer (below the vent), and this worked great to get in there and get it out. It fit fine on my Shark vacuum. Yes, the main hose stayed bent, but the included instructions give directions on how to unbend it (which I didn't try). For the price, I'm glad I purchased it, and I'm sure it will help out with other, non dryer related vacuum needs down the road.
