Manual Oil Extraction Pump

Pump was broken on arrival. Pump handle was broken. Could be fixed with tape but was flimsy and cheap. The narrow hose wouldn't fit in the valve bit on top. The larger fit, but wasn't an airtight fit, so it was basically useless. Also, there was no way to connect the two different sized tubes to be useful. Had to modify the tube with electrical tape to get it to actually seal. The pump itself wasn't airtight so it wouldn't maintain a vacuum for longer than a couple seconds. I could hear the vacuum leak and it sounded like it was coming from the pump itself. The valve mine had on it was different than the box/listing (see picture) It could be a different revision but compatibility with tubing is obviously an issue. Instructions were inadequate to make sure the thing was put together properly, to make sure it wasn't user error. I tightened every fastener I could find to get it right and it didn't help. Was able to rig it together with tubing I already had and constantly pump in order for it to somewhat work. Spend the extra money and get a nicer one than this garbage.

Doesn't work.

Does not hold vacuum due to failed plastic valve. Tried fixing with oil on valve still not working. Wasted money.

Arrived in good condition and had the instructions in the box. I tried to suck transmission fluid and it did not work. I attempted to prime the pump then went back to the transmission and it still did not work. Tried sucking motor oil from a jug and that did not work. I sent it back and got a refund.

Works great

The hose connects to the top of the pump through a quick-release fitting on top of a shut-off valve. But the connector leaks an insane amount of air; it's not clear to me whether a sealing ring was missing or the design is just ridiculous -- a perforated metal ring is the only thing the PEX hose fits into, and it doesn't seal much at all. Fortunately, I have a supply of silicone tape always at hand. Wrapping the top of the fitting with tape sealed it, making the hose non-removable (okay in my application). There is decent suction when this leak is fixed. But be warned that either the fitting is poorly designed or mine was missing a seal of some kind.

Piece of garbage. I regret not returning it immediately. I didn't get around to using it for 6 months after receiving it. Like a buffoon I'm in the garage pumping like a madman and get zero suction of fluid, I would have been better off literally sucking the tube with my own mouth and bringing the fluid out to the tank.

Équipement efficace

Writing this while my motorcycle engine oil is dripping in a pan, with the traditional method. This is a piece of crap, not enough suction to pull the oil in…the pump base plastic screw always becoming loose, no matter how quick and hard you pump, oil would stop mid way. Maybe a defective unit but I’m extremely disappointed.

worst product ever could not even extract 2 ltes out of 7ltes of fluid needed constant vacuum pumping after it totally stopped working. Do not recommend.
