My daughter went on a hiking trip with her school and she said that she loves the boots when it rained her feet did not get wet at all and they were very comfortable to wear the whole day. They are also true to size.

Expensive but worth it! Well made and keeps my daughter’s feet and ankles happy on long hikes. Bought the same pair two years ago and when she out grew them I bought them again.

My son took these to camp for a month in Wyoming. He did not get them until the day before he left but did not have any trouble breaking them in. He also said he got them wet but his feet stayed dry. True to size so we sent the bigger pair back.

Bought these for my 10-yr old daughter, and she hiked for 14 days in these. No wear-in period, and when given the option, she chose these over her running/casual shoes. She’s begged to have them in the next size up in case they stop making them.

13yr old son loved them on his school excursion. We bought many different brands ahead of the hike. Opted to go with this pair based on feel, and added an elastic lace system to make them easier to manage on the hike (he's garbage at tying shoes even at this age).
