Excellent Cherry Blossom flavor
I really enjoyed this product.....this was extremely similar to a gift I received from a friend who travelled to Japan. It's not necessarily a tea but rather just the salted cherry blossoms themselves. All you do is rinse a bit of the salt off, drop into hot water, steep and enjoy!

Beautiful product
I use it for tea and moose cake and it earn me a lot of praise for the whole flower displaying. The pack is small but the quantity a bit more than I read from the comments, it seems containing 25-30 cherry blossoms. One reminder is that it is PICKLED/SALTED, so it’s ok to use normally in Japanese tea if you want salted Japanese tea, but if you need it for the cake, you have to soak it in water 1-2 days before use, and change water 1-2 times.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tea
I have been wanting to try pickled sakura tea for a while now. I thoroughly enjoyed this tea. It is pretty salty, so if you are looking to get more of the subtle sakura flavor, I recommend rubbing off some of the salt before you put it in your teacup. The first cup will be more salty. Some people prefer that, but it is an acquired taste. I prefer the more subtle sakura flavor, so after rubbing off a bit of the salt I pour one cup and let it sit for a few minutes. I then empty that cup, take the sakura flowers and put them back in. When I pour the second cup the flavors are much more subdued and floral, and there is a small bit of salt flavor. I only ever use 1 or two flowers per cup. I think there are around 20 flowers total in there, so you won't get too many cups of tea. This is a small package though. For those leaving feedback about it being too salty... do some research on how other drink it, and know that it is an acquired taste. If you just want the floral sakura tea flavor, you can buy dried loose sakura tea instead.

TO SALTY !
I think it's VERY salty. But I put some in the microwave which hardened them up and a little bit of the saltiness went away. Bit on the expensive for the amount you get.

Received what was described.
I received exactly what I expected, salted and pickled cherry blossoms. I have read some reviews where the blossoms disintegrated. Don't use boiling water when soaking these. Use luke warm water to keep the blossoms from degrading. I used this in baking cherry blossoms cookies and it turned out great.

For me is a reminder spring is coming.
It's hard to explain what seems to special about salt-pickled cherry blossom. Perhaps it's just the reminder spring is coming. There is a subtle taste, too. They look beautiful once rinsed in other fluids (tea), and this year I discovered if i put it in the microwave after rinsing to dry (few seconds) they fluff up and look terrific.

A beautiful cup of tea
These were an interesting experiment and when used properly ( wash thoroughly then steep in green tea or water heated to green tea temp) it makes a really nice subtle tea and the blossom is beautiful at the bottom of the cup as your sip.

Has a subtle taste but was good for what I needed them for
Has a very subtle taste but it tasted really good in my cookies. I didn’t taste the salt at all but I also soaked it for way too long so if you wanna get rid of the salt then definitely try pressing them and soaking them for a while.
