Savio Skimmerfilter Pond Skimmer - with 16" Faceplate

I have been installing Savio skimmer filters for years, they are tough, easy to maintain and worth every penny.

I installed my Savio Skimmer SS0000 in June 2005 (~16 years ago!!) and it is still in excellent condition. I am remodeling my pond now to make it larger and I plan to use this skimmer in the new one in 2021. I also have the Savio UV lamp system (57W) and still find UV replacement lamps for it. Skimmer maintenance is simply pulling the mesh filter out about once per week and hosing it off. The lid is strong enough to walk on but I keep a decorative rock on top to hide it. Although I didn't buy this from Amazon, I felt compelled to let others know that this has been an excellent product with long life and a good investment. RL Oregon.

I don't understand why a company sends out a product that is defective and then makes you jump through hoops and spend money sending it back, when it was their responsibility to inspect all products before they left the warehouse. Savio is not a responsible vendor and their products are way overpriced for $25 in cheap plastic!
