For this price range, you are definitely getting your money's worth. I got it in red. It's a good red. The most important thing to me, of course, was sound. I was pleased with the quality.

This radio is perfect. Reception is great. The shade of red is great. It’s not a fire engine red that I don’t like. It’s very compact meaning it is small and fits the space I wanted it for. I plan to buy more red pieces for the kitchen. I wanted a retro style radio c/d player and this fit the bill.This is a review for the green radio as I have the red too. I ordered green for mysecond home. The green isn’t matte. It’s slightly metallic anddisappointed me. It’s not obnoxiously green for me to send itback.

I am so upset. This portable CD player was purchased for a 92yr old who is in hospice and just wanted to hear the rugged cross and many other gospel songs. I had instructed her caretakers to open the box and write her name all over the CD player right away, so hopefully nobody would steal it in the hospital. They followed my instructions and wrote her name all over it and took it to her at the hospital. I had also purchased a gospel CD. She smiled when it was brought into her room. I was so upset when they plugged it in and it doesn't have any power. I am more upset because she only has a limited amount of time before she goes to heaven and she just wanted to hear her beloved music and this CD player was a waste of my money and a waste of everybody's time 😖! I cannot return it because her name is written all over it. I am so disappointed and I urge you to choose another CD player if you need one. I now have to try and contact one of the caregivers and ask them to run to a local store to pick one up. Just really stinks. I tried to surprise my lovely friend and now instead of listening to her songs, she has another lovely night listening to the monitor beeping. So disappointed.
