HP .....best steak sauce in the world. Blows A1 away. It's delicious on all kinds of other meats, stews and vegetables too.

It’s a big ol’ jug of HP sauce. It tastes fresh enough, the price was great, so what’s not to love? Unless you’re lucky enough to have a shop that sells the stuff locally, this is probably your best bet.

Who doesn't love HP sauce? We really love it and use it all the time. So tangy.

I'm English, but live in the US. One of the things I grew up on and miss, is BROWN SAUCE. It's not the most imaginative name I admit, but it's a sauce and it's brown. Personally, I hate ketchup - always have. The smell is the thing - the colour is great. So, that minor digression aside, what is "Brown Sauce" ? It's like a cross between A1 and BBQ sauce. Kinda. It's a deep fruity sauce, with the sweetness of BBQ dialled back, but also the vinegaryness (real word) of A1 dialled back. It has the consistency of BBQ though. So, basically, it's a mildy peppery, fruity, slightly spicy, semi sweet thick sauce. I put it on everything, but it's reknowned for fry-ups and bacon buttys. One thing to note is that the version of HP that the US market gets is not the same as HP in the UK. It's still good, but it is definitely sweeter and also less peppery.

I've used HP for countless years and it never fails to delight. I bought the large container of it so it'll keep me going for awhile. The only difference from the sauce contained in bottles is that it's slightly more runny, but retains the wonderful flavor which I use to enhance stews and omelettes etc.

Leider ist die legendäre HP-Sauce bei uns nirgendwo im Laden erhältlich, so dass ich mich online danach umsehen musste. Die riesigen Flaschen sind zwar nicht sehr bedienerfreundlich, aber man kann sie ja umschütten. Der Geschmack des Originals ist unbeschreiblich. Eine raffinierte Mischung aus süß, sauer, scharf... Unbeschreiblich gut!

Wie ich Brown Sauce vermisst habe :D. Es ist für mich eine besondere Sauce und zeigt es auch was es verspricht. Vom Sandy's Shop bin ich sehr zufrieden über die schnelle Lieferung. Vielen Dank

Wer jemals den Fehler machte, in GB zu beliebigem Gericht, eine Brown Sauce zu kosten, der ist verloren. Meth, Crack, Koks, Heroin .. pfiffkas, da entwoehnt man sich mit ner Aspirin und nem Schluck Gin, bei Brown Sauce von HP ist keine Rettung moeglich. Wer einmal auf den Geschmack gekommen ist, der kann sich von Ketchup, BBQ Saucen und aehnlichem Geraffel verabschieden. Finger weg! Wundert mich, dass man noch keine Berichte ueber Beschaffungskriminalitaet im Bezug auf HP Sauce gelesen hat. "Auto versetzt, Fernseher verkauft, Omma die Rente gemopst, um HP Vorrat zu fuellen. HP sauce is great for pies and with pork- far superior to tomato ketchup. Product was well packaged and arrived fast. Excellent product , excellent service.
