These headphones are awesome and easy to use with crystal clear audio sound.
Don't pay much attention to these reviews for these fabulous Sennheiser RS 120 On-Ear Wireless Headphones with Crystal-Clear audio voice sound. You just have to learn the little tricks to know how to easily use them. #1. Most earphones that cost less than $100 don't have clear sound. The voices will be muffled and very hard to understand. These RS 120 earphones have crystal clear voice audio. #2. If you can't get loud enough volume on the earphones from your TV & or computer, you'll have to hook up a stereo amplifer between your TV or computer and the charging dock, like your usual am/fm cd/dvd amps and speakers used with desktop computers and speakers you use for great sound out of your computer. Plug your audio out from your TV into the cd or dvd in on the amp and the audio out of your computer into the other input. Then you can easily increase the volume going into your earphones and still use the volume control on the earphones. Be sure to buy an amplifer that has an earphone plug, preferably the larger 1/4 inch stereo earphones out plug and a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter that will hook up to the smaller 1/8" cords with 3 contacts. The 1/4" headphone plugs are much better quality than the 1/8" Plugs and will last much longer and if they short out, you can buy a new adapter. You can find a really good small 8"x10" amplifer on Amazon here for $56 that also supports blue tooth. https://www.amazon.com/Moukey-Bluetooth-Power-Amplifier-System/dp/B08H4R221Z/ref=sr_1_7?crid=113XWE3UC8KS0&keywords=stereo+amplifier&qid=1680275974&sprefix=stereo+%2Caps%2C120&sr=8-7 I have one of these and they have great reviews. Be sure to get one that has both bass & treble controls if you want clear voice audio. #3. If the audio stops on the earphones because a song stops playing or video stops, while you are reading an article on another link on your computer, the headphones will beep every 5 minutes to remind you no audio is playing so you can restart some audio sound or flip the switch off on the headphones to conserve battery life . Most headphones are leather that causes you ears to sweat. Here is a link for some $15 cloth velour replacement earpads on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/RS120-RS119-Ear-Pads-Replacement/dp/B0913BNQTB/ref=sr_1_34?crid=1Q712Y96OU9HR&keywords=replacement+earpads+for+sennheiser+rs120+velour+earphones&qid=1683501883&sprefix=replacement+earpads+for+sennheiser+rs120+velour+earphones%2Caps%2C122&sr=8-34 velour replacement earpads for Sennheiser RF 120 earphones $15 #4. These Sennheiser rf or radio frequency headphones, not bluetooth, are very easy to match to your tv & computer just by turning them on. They also have a rotating volume control that works much easier than the than the push button volume controls on most headphones. #5. These on-ear RF headphones are light as a feather at only 8 oz are the most comfortable headphones you will ever use. You can barely feel them on your ears and wear them for hours without your ears hurting. They fit so loose, you have to be careful to keep them balanced on your head so they won't fall off when you tip your head forward or back, especially over the toilet. You can solve this problem by ordering replacement soft velour earpads for $15 that are wider and will hold the earphones from moving around. Both sets of earphones are not vinal or leather that sweats on your ears. They are made of soft velour that doesn't sweat. Be sure to get earphones covered with velour. #6. It is easy to get them to charge. Just drop the earphones squarely on the chrome magnetic rails one time, and don't touch them for a few seconds and the charging light will come on and start charging, unless they are fully charged. #7. They also have 3 different settings for audio quality at the bottom of the charging dock. Far left is best for clear voice audio and added bass. Center position, the audio is muffled. Far right has sharp clear audio with less bass. With these simple tricks, you are going to love your new R F headphones. 8. These Sennheiser RF 120 headphones have a range of 200 feet unless they have to go through brick walls or steel doors. If you usually use them on your computer & TV, in the same room, you will have plenty of signal range. Once you try them, you will love them even though they have one sad drawback that you can also solve with some black Gorilla duct tape. You will drop them sooner or later and they are very fragel and an earphone will break off and render them useless. You can fix this before they break by pushing them all the way together, where they aren't adjustable any more because you need to wrap black Gorilla duct tape across the crack where they slide in & out. Wrap the tape around twice right above the top of the headphone & over the crack where they adjust. You might as well tape them the minute they arrive, before you drop them. This should solve the problem of how fragel they are and keep them from breaking. The are the most comfortable headphones with the most crystal clear sound and great bass you will ever buy for less than $500. They're awesome for their price. You just have to be careful with them.

hook ups to tv/excellent sound
The hook up to your tv are rca or 3.5 jack. You also can add a analog/digital powered adapter to infra red out on your tv. Have a approx 10 year ago model of this wireless headphone. It is old now, the rca cord comes right out of the base and all the insulation on the wire is cracked and missing. It no longer is stero. Also the ear piece where the batteries are have built up a tar substance which is sticky. Still works, still reliable. They should show this on their display instead of having others show this. The pair I just purchased sound is 50 times better than what we have. Have ordered another set. Light weight, easy to set up, no lag on sound with these during video/audio play like bluetooth, which is why we again bought these. More expensive than last year because of Donny's slush fund. Check your tv out audio jacks to see if these will work. There is always a way to connect to your tv with adapters. Love these headphones.

Constantly drops
Due to hearing loss and an older, non-bluetooth TV I bought a pair of these 4 or 5 years ago and they were awesome. Great sound and never lost a signal. I have no idea what Sennheiser did to this newer model but it is just horrible. I retuned my first pair due to the fact the sound just cut out constantly. Sometimes after an hour or so, sometimes every 5 or 10 minutes. I thought maybe the rechargeble batteries were old or bad, but I didn't want to have to buy new batteries for a new headset so I returned and got a new set. They were OK for a while then the same thing started. Dropped sound. Turn headphones off. Turn back on, listen to the annoying introduction sound, then back to whatever I was watching. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. So I broke down and bought some new batteries. It was OK for a while but then starting dropping again. And again. And again. I cannot stress how annoying this is, to be watching a program and just lose the sound, then have to restart the whole process. Unfortunately my window has closed to return these for good, so I am stuck. Or I'll just just stop using them and admit defeat. These headphones were one of my worst purchases on Amazon, where I usually have good luck in finding quality products. I hope anyone who purchases these has better luck and a better experience than I have had. But I wholeheartedly no not recommend these headphones. Sorry Sennheiser.

Sennheiser Quality at a Great Price
Researching replacement RF headphones for TV use I was surprised to see such inexpensive Sennheisers. They have always been known as a high-end audiophile-leaning brand. And the very top of the very expensive headphones are Sennheisers. But because they were going to be just for TV use I figure that amazingly cheap (under $100!) pair would suffice. And they certainly did! Crystal clear sound that does disconnect and has range of over 50ft, even to another floor in my home. Super comfortable, not "pinching" and soft ear pads. Attractive styling and quality materials with a good "feel." Other reviews have more detail about techical stuff, so I am going to add what jumped out to me rather than duplicate them. I posted photos too. The ear pads are super easy to remove and replace if necessary - unlike my prior Sonys. Also replaceable are the AA rechargeable batteries. It uses RCA jacks and an 3.5mm adapter which expands connectivity options. All great features. On the downside, placing them in the base station for recharging is fiddly. You need to be careful setting them on to get a good connection. Not a big deal if you keep an eye on the charge light when you put them back. I also have to shoo cats away from bumping them too! All in all, a great value that lives up to the reputation of Sennheiser. I'm very happy and highly recommend.

Not the same as my old ones . . .
I had an older set I purchased a long time ago, and they lasted for years. The new ones seem to work well, but my main complaints are with dealing with trying to get some answers from the seller and Sennheiser. First, Amazon had one way of dealing with this: Do you wish to return it for a refund? I could not ask for a replacement, only a refund. I didn't know if they were malfunctioning or the LED lights were working properly, as they weren't the same as my old unit, which looks almost identical except for color. When putting my old headphones on the stand, the red charging light came on instantly. Not so on the new one, and I didn't know if contact had not been made. Also, the red light turns off after a time on the new unit. With the old ones, the red light stayed on while on the stand. Occasionally, the green signal light comes on when not attached to my amplifier. I wanted to know if it was normal. No one could tell me, and the instructions are a joke. I called Sennheiser, and a recording refers you to their website, and I emailed them, and it took several days to get back to me. All this, and the seller now was selling new ones at around $50 more, so getting a refund and buying another set was out of the picture. I finally found out from Sennheiser that the lights are working properly. When putting the headphones on the stand, wait a short time and the red charging light will come on, and turn off when the unit is fully charged. Otherwise, they work well. The lights going on and off during the day are not like my old ones, but, everything still works!

Quality
Perfect delivery, no damages. Was very easy to assemble and connect. The quality of the sound is amazing. This is not a cheap or mid-priced item it is top quality sound. I would most definitely purchase this if I ever need another.

Works great as ear muffs, sound is good
Here is my 2 cents about these headphones. I was excited to receive these headphones and give them a try. I have a Marantz A/V, 7.1 Surround Receiver connected to my Smart TV so the only way I could hook this head set up was to get a 6.35 mm 1/4 inch Male TRS to 2 RCA female splitter stereo audio adapter cable so I can plug it right into the front of my AVR headphone jack. I had to purchase this adapter through Amazon for about 10 dollars. I bought the J & D adapter it works great to connect the RCA cables. The design of these headphones are not typical to other headphones. They are a new design as of this year. The part the covers your ears is smooth all the way across like a pair of ear muffs I wore on those cold winter days growing up in Maine. What I didn't think about when purchasing these headphones was how warm they are going to be when your wearing them. I am of senior age with hyper tension so it doesn't take me much to get all heated up. These headphone were cooking on me, not a good feeling. I could only wear them for a short time and had to take them off to cool my ears down. One other thing, they didn't seem to want to stay on my head very well, I was constantly trying to adjust them for a good fit and it wasn't happening. When I had them on and look down at my feet or just looking down they would fall off my head. It was a constant balancing act trying to keep them on my head, don't look down, keep your head up, look straight ahead and you'll be fine. Some of the good things about these head phones they sound nice at low to medium volume. I was not able to turn my AVR up beyond 60% because all I heard was distortion so these headphone will not take a lot of wattage. My AVR puts out 100 watts per channel so if you like loud music these are not for you. Sennheiser is known for good quality stuff but maybe you need to spend a few hundred dollars more for the higher end ones, I don't know, they don't talk much about connecting these to a Surround Sound System, nobody does. So it's a guessing game for me to figure out what will work best for me and I'm not having much fun doing so. It's easy to return stuff to Amazon but I don't like having to do so. I returned these headphones because it was difficult for me to wear these headphones longer than 30 minutes. It was heating my ears up to much and giving me headaches. Maybe if I was younger leaving back in Maine watching tv on a cold winter night outdoors they would be fine but not for this old Fellah and now I live in Sunny San Diego. I gave these headphones a 3 star rating they are well made but just not for me.

Reliable and easy to set up!
For many years, we've used Sennheiser headphones for television listening. We NEVER had a problem with them! Quality sound, easy to set up (even for old folks!), excellent coverage. We can be outside the house, and still hear just fine. We only changed to a different brand to get headphones that cupped our ears; the Sennheiser model have flat earpieces and tend to slip off if we bend over. Well, absolute frustration ensued with the Avantro model. It was Bluetooth-operated, and it frequently disconnected with our rural internet. We put up with the things for six months. We returned to the trusty and easy-to-use Sennheiser ... and are ever so grateful for this model!
