Five Star Quality and Customer Service
I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and Zinus customer service. I have had this bedframe for 4 years and I lost a couple of bolts in a recent move. I reached out with the intention of finding out the size of the bolts so I could purchase the replacements at a local hardware store. However, when I reached out, the Zinus customer service team went above and beyond by shipping the replacement parts to me free of charge. I expected it to be a struggle just to get the information I needed, so I was very pleasantly surprised to have someone take the time and effort to go beyond my request, especially so many years after the purchase. After four years, the quality of the product is still great, no wobble or squeaks, and the customer service is so far beyond what I am accustomed to receiving. Thank you!

Great minimalist bed frame
Sturdy bed frame. Easy to assemble. The low profile makes it easy to get into and off my bed. Not great if you like to store stuff underneath the bed. The minimalistic design is what I love most about this frame.

Best and most clearly labeled instructions i've come across
The directions were written so clearly and labeled so well that this took me no time to put together. Packed very nicely and included a nice ratchet tool. Will buy from them again!!

What i expected
Big props to Amazon for delivering this 2 days in advance, i was expecting it to be delivered Sunday.Nothing was damaged. All pieces inside were in great condition, no scratches, bumps, nothing. Unboxing was easy, the parts are not heavy. The set comes with everything necessary to put it together, and a few spare screws just in case.Putting it together was easy, one person alone can do it no problem. All pieces fitted perfectly, didn't have to twist or hammer anything. There's about ~20 screws to put in, had no issues with threading, everything went in nicely. None of the pieces have sharp edges that may cause a (minor) accident, but always use common sense. As for the finished frame (on carpet), the 3 support legs in the middle all provide support, none was shorter then the other. It feels solid, and can be easily moved around, the legs, front and back have round corners plastic feet that don't look like they'd damage hardwood floors. After everything was put together proper, i flipped it around in multiple ways to test fittings for sagging, using it's own weight, and it felt really solid. I would recommend doing this and give another pass on any screws that need to be adjusted. As a downside, the screw heads feel soft, or maybe the provided tools are not precise enough. After everything was together and when doing the last round tightening everything, the wrench did get stuck and had to be wiggled off, be careful there. While the provided tools are adequate, if you have better tools available, i recommend using those instead. The 2 sticky strips on the boards look like they'll get the job done keeping the mattress more or less in place for a while, but don't expect it to be forever perfect. It's just a simple, non intrusive way to keep the mattress in place on a frame that has no front/back/side supports and in situations where there are only naps involved. If there's a lot of random movement over time, the mattress will move. But when there's a lot of random movement, there's a good chance of making a mess around :)The frame has potential for some extra modding, for those who like to get crafty.Recommendations:Don't rush it. This is easy enough, but think about what you are doing. Lay down everything, put the frame together, fit the screws, but don't tighten them all the way yet, leave some play on the spring washers. If one screw feels like it doesn't like the thread, try moving the frame around a bit to accommodate, or try a different screw, everything should go in nicely. Cannot expect something to be 101% precise with this price tag. After everything is together, then go around and tighten the screws proper - this is the part when the head feels soft, if you over tighten, you might damage the screw - you don't want to damage the screws, as it might be a good idea to go over one more time after a month or 2, and check if anything needs a nudge.I would recommend this frame. The quality is right for the price. (Most of) the worse reviews for the product have aged, so the manufacturer might have stepped up the game and improved in QC and overall production quality. This is, of course, not taking into account human error on the assembly side.

no noise, easy to put together, beautiful low profile
honestly I don't think I have anything I dislike about this frame. the biggest thing I was looking for was a frame that made no noise, and this frame makes NO NOISE.1. the no noise system: I should mention I am a slim person (6 ft but 140 lbs) so im not sure how much that can change if you are a heavier weight person (my memory foam bed also weighs about 80 lbs). although I have sat on my bed/frame with one other person and still no squeaks and creaks.my old bedframe was completely made of wood and oh my gosh, the amount of noise it made 🙃. this one is metal and wood and uses protective foam on the metal to prevent wood shifting and noise. how long that foam will last until its worn down completely? I dont know. the wood slat system is interesting tho and ill share more later on.2. appearance: another thing i wanted was something low to the ground, low profile, and sturdy. and this bed is low to the ground, so if you're into that, this is for you. grab you a measuring tape, see whats ideal for you. my bed/frame together is 17in in height and I am happy with it. there is of course not a lot of storage room underneath.I have a small room and not a lot of space so this bed feels elegant and fits well with how little room I have to work with.I saw with some bedframes, the middle support leg was not far back enough and people would stub their toes when approaching their bed. even though there isn't a middle leg at the edge of the frame, it still feels held up well and supported... and im not stubbing my toe lol.3. assembly: uhh very easy to assemble. the instructions were clear for me, I wasn't keeping track of how long it took me as I enjoy assembling things and get lost in it. but I have no complaints. my package came with handy tools that helped secure the bolts and screws which I am very thankful for. I did not need any extra tools. it also comes with extra screws in case you loose any. just know the box is HEAVYY. I needed help bringing it upstairs.4. the slat system: the slats are secured to the frame by velcro which i thought was intriguing. I was concerned id hear the velcro whenever I'd get into bed or move around but I did not. they were also pretty easy to put in. a bit heavy but fun to stick them in place. watching it all come together was satisfying.I wasn't tryna go crazy with seeing how sturdy they were before placing my bed on top, but like any long piece of wood, they bend in when applying pressure to a slat. so far after sleeping on it for a few weeks, none of them have broken and my bed does not sink. it actually feels much more supported (this new mattress was previously on the ground).5. packaging: the box came without dramatic rips or tears or looking like it was thrown around. nothing inside was damaged either and all the pieces included were inside. I think I would have liked some box handles or something. I think it arrived a bit earlier than anticipated too.overall, great bed frame if youre looking for a little something nice at a low price. I highly highly recommend 😄

Probably the best cheap reliable frame you can get.
If you’re looking for a low profile, zero sound, easy set up bed frame. This one’s it. I’ve had it for about 8 years and made multiple moves with it. Super easy to pack up and condense, sets up really quick. I’m in the market for a frame with a headboard but this one has served me incredibly well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap but incredibly reliable frame.
