The little rubber feet are strange and cause some inaccuracies, but overall it’s great for cabinets and door jambs. Not for every occasion. Feels like quality.

I needed a packable level that could extend beyond its packed size, and was delighted that such a thing even exists. Of course, leave it to the folks at Stabila. This tool works great at its maximum length, yet is packable at 25". Because it is a Stabila, it is accurate and sturdy, and will last a lifetime. Love it.

First off it’s Accurate and wonderfully machined.The disappointment is in the flimsy and poorly designed bumper tabs on the end cap of the main body. While I could hot glue the piece in, I would need to remove all 4 and glue them as they would disappear if broken without knowing. I’m returning it in hopes that stabila will design it better in the future. FYI I am a fan stabila and own 8 of their levels for rough to finish carpentry/Construction.By logic: If it can’t survive the rigors inside a padded cardboard box while being fully wrapped in plastic, then there’s no way the bumpers could handle even an hour on a Construction site.

Last I checked 25" items don't in 24" bags for levels. I like how the stabilia bags say "stabilia" as if to advertise to everyone on the job site, STEAL THIS! Not gonna knock the tool though. Locks well, however the slide can stiffen up a bit if too much dry wall dust or mdf is in the air. just be aware and maybe spray some dry lock lube once and a while

Makes life a lot easier

I purchased this to help level the shims under new windows. It worked great because it extends to span the size of the window. Prior to this purchase I owned a 24" and 48" level, which were often too short or too long.

I only wish I had a stabila bag to put it in because I that’s my 3rd level stabila and wish the combo was with the bag 🤣

Great level for leveling, especially if you need to fit it inside or on top of cabinets.It's not great for plumb though. Plumb vial is only on one end, which always seems to be the furthest end from me. Plus, the plumb vial is tough to read with the level fully collapsed. Also, only one edge is machined flat so I tend to only trust that as the reference edge. I wish they had machined both edges, the printed ruler on the one edge is absolutely useless.So, if Stabila is reading this, upgrade this with 2 plumb vials and machine both edges......
