Fit Issues
Screws are too soft, won't drive tight and strip out. Set screws are too short and won't hold plate in place.

Took longer than expected to install
I've installed many deadbolts and it usually takes me around 15-20 minutes. However, it took my around 45 minutes for this one. As soon as I tightened the screws the thumb turn assembly wouldn't turn at all and if I loosened the screws the deadbolt would move when turning the thumb assembly. The instructions did not help much since there was no troubleshooting section. After watching a few Youtube videos someone suggested to cut a piece of the tailpiece , which is attached to the thumb turn assemble. Apparently my door was too thin and the tailpiece was too long for my door. Cutting a piece off relieved pressure to the tailpiece when tightening the screws. This is probably something common when installing deadbolts but it was the first time it happened to me. The deadbolt works great now!

took a bit to figure out. strange instructions, otherwise nice look and functional overall
i like the look of this. it works once you figure out how to get it apart to install it(instructions leave alot to be desired) now for the fun stuff. 1st of all you have to loosen the hex bolt on the knob itself(not mentioned in the instructions) theres also a hex bolt on the outer plate for the inside that has to be loosened(this one is mentioned). rest is pretty self explanatory once those 2 items are taken care of. i will say the instructions show you the so called right side up and wrong side. however i'm pretty sure they have it backwards. cause if flipped over as they state it should be, the key is upside down and knob and key actually function backwards. way i have it on the door works perfectly. lastly the knob feels a bit rough when locking and unlocking. am sure a squirt of wd-40 would fix it. build quality seems good. easy to install once you figure out the hex bolts. and the weird almost grind i get when locking it i don't think is from over tightening, just feels like it needs some grease to be honest. overall it has a great look, works as intended and i'd recommend it.update - little 3-in-1 oil smoothed out the rough locking

Disappointed in Quality. Not High Security but Low Security Decorative Lock.
I was hoping this was of higher quality metal and design. But it turns out it is something a crook could easily smash apart with just a hammer and gain access to what you have this lock on. Not for business or real home security use.The metal is thin, with pot metal feel more for low to medium security and cosmetic appeal. It is definitely not quality hardened steel of good lock standards. But if you just want low security hardware this should do. But don't expect it to do more for you than that. If you want better security you will have to spend a bit more with a well-known proven brand name of far better design and metal quality than this like a lock smith would provide. This is not worth my time installing to see if even the parts adequately come together tightly.

Nice appearance, thin hardware
The appearance is cool, but you need to take extra care to line it up straight and square before tightening. The instructions are not in depth and if you have never installed door hardware before, you might need to watch some YouTube videos on secrets like unscrewing hidden hex screws to disassemble and reassemble parts of the hardware. Also, the included wood screws are shorter and thinner than the ones in the beefier more robust dead bolt I replaced. Likewise the deadbolt lock assembly is lighter and not as robust. But this deadbolt was for a door where security isn't paramount. If you want more robust security, a pretty designer deadbolt like this isn't designed for you.

Pretty, but super hard to install
My husband and I both have installed hundreds of locks, usually taking no more than 5-10 minutes. My husband spent over a half hour trying to install this lock before giving up. He could not get it to come together correctly. We returned and decided to go with something else. It’s a shame because this looks extremely nice, and felt super sturdy. I wish we could have used it.

Extra security
Extra security for when we retire. I now have key pad entry which is very secure. My door had an extra whole so I filled it with a dead bolt. It is very sturdy.

Installation was easy
Easy installation. Don’t know about battery life yet because it was just installed. Great quality
