Easy to use and clean. Works great.
Works great. Good size. I like the way it stops and starts for mixing and then when finished can switch to fermenting. Everything has turned out well. Great for bread and pizza dough.

Great Dough Mixer
This mixer works great for heavy dough! I make a 3 loaf batch of bread dough and this machine handles it no problem. My stand mixer would make a total mess when mixing the dough. Not only can this mixer mix the dough, but also ferments(rises) the dough when finished mixing. Just set the mix time, set the ferment time and away you go. I feel the quality is very good and waaaaay less expensive than the brand name units. If your into making homemade bread and cookie doughs buy this. You won't regret it.

You NEED this in your life!
Not sure as to why this product is tagged as “frequently returned”. As a long time baker, I find this machine to be worth its weight in gold. Lightweight, especially when compared to my Kitchen Aid Stand mixer, super easy to use and super easy to clean. I put all ingredients into the bowl and press “mix”. It will start and stop repeatedly to mimic hand mixing and kneading. The beauty here is that you can walk away and do other tasks while this is happening. The suction on the bottom keeps the machine firmly in place, but also moves very easily when lifted. When it’s done in 15 minutes, press the ferment button for the proofing phase. No need to change to an oiled bowl.I make ALL of our bread products: wheat, rye, white, etc., loves and ciabatta, hamburger & hot dog buns, sandwich rolls, cinnamon rolls, etc. my initial intention was to purchase a lower priced product rather than higher priced to see if I even thought I would like it, and if I did, then I would invest in a better quality. Let me tell you, there is absolutely no need to upgrade this machine. It’s fabulous and makes light duty of frequent dough making. Only regret is that I didn’t discover this sooner.

Outstanding Dough Maker: A Must-Have for Any Kitchen
I recently purchased the Joydeem Electric Dough Maker with Ferment Function, and it has completely transformed my baking experience. The 6.6-quart capacity is perfect for both small and large batches, making it incredibly versatile for all my baking needs. The 304 stainless steel bowl is not only durable but also easy to clean, which is a significant advantage for someone who bakes frequently. The microcomputer timing feature is a game-changer, allowing me to set precise times for kneading and fermenting. This level of control ensures that my dough is always perfect, whether I'm making bread, pizza, or pastries. The face-up touch panel is intuitive and user-friendly, making the whole process straightforward and enjoyable. I appreciate how Joydeem has made advanced technology accessible to home bakers like me.One of the standout features of this dough maker is the ferment function. It maintains the ideal temperature for dough to rise, resulting in consistently excellent texture and flavor. This function alone has saved me so much time and effort, as I no longer have to worry about finding a warm spot in my kitchen. Overall, the Joydeem Electric Dough Maker is a fantastic investment for anyone who loves baking. It has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to both novice and experienced bakers alike.

This does better than my Kitchen Aid mixer for bread and pizza doughs
This dough mixer is well built, it's much quieter than my KA mixer and it doesn't tear the dough like my KA mixer does, the Joydeem doesn't mix as quickly but is gentle on the dough. My KA Pro HD 6qt mixer really struggles to mix 80 ounces of bread dough, the Joydeem mixer has no issues with this amount and my dough temperature is 5-7F degrees cooler than what the KA does. My baguette 65% hydration dough turned out very soft and supple. This mixer requires you to adjust your mixing times because of the 5 seconds on and off of the mixing cycle. I ended up mixing for 5 mins for my poolish, add the ingredients, do a 15 min dough mix, rest for 7-10 mins and then finished off with a 10 minute mix time. You will need to play around with adding a bit more H20 or a little more flour near the end of the mixing cycle depending on how wet/dry the dough looks.I really wanted a spiral mixer but don't want a 85lb+ machine I to need to more around. The mixer has 2 set's of instructions in both English and Chinese. I don't know how a 70-75% hydration dough would turn out.Overall I am pretty happy with this dough mixer. I have made 2 batches of dough and both rose great and the bread turned out really good, the dough was easy to work with when shaping.

You can mix dough with up to 2.2kg flour, almost an entire 5lbs. bag!
You can make dough (or meatballs/meatloaf) but that is all this does. It does not whip or make batter. You can buy replacement parts under the Bear brand name. I would give it 5 stars but I wish it came with more attachments like the Bosch mixer. I can use my hand mixer for that though. I made dough with 2kg of flour and it did not even slow down. I let it knead for 15 minutes but it was mixed in less than 10 minutes. When I got done it was easy to clean, too. If you want dough and don't need lots of attachments this is your best deal right now. It is sturdy and makes so much dough. Forget about a stand mixer. They are too expensive and don't even make half the dough this mixer does. This is best for making dough if you can't afford the Bosch mixer. This is a better bang for the buck if you don't mind a one-trick pony. You will love it, I swear.
