Good craft box
I was a little frustrated when I first received the boxes because one of the boxes was missing a couple of screws on the hinges. Eventually I found the screws in the packaging and was able to fix the hinge. Other than that the boxes are of decent quality. I painted and decorated them for a Christmas gift and they turned out nice.

Quality of wood
The wood quality could have been better, more sturdy.

Really nice boxes
The two boxes arrived shrink wrapped tightly over bubble wrap, no dents or scratches. They are large, light weight, the latch is perfectly aligned and these will be just right for my needs.

Easily Damaged, but Good Looking
The wood is so soft, it's basically a guarantee they will arrive damaged. Mine had dents, and the screws had ripped out of the latch on one.However, once I sanded them and sealed them with tung oil, the defects were trivial and they look nice for the price.

Ok but not ok
So I’m OK with removing the hinges and putting them back on however, I’m not OK with having an extra hole for the latch and having to fill it (see photo) but we’re crafty and can figure out how to cover the hole. Otherwise, these are a great addition to the trunks I have in my home. We’ll embellish them with all the fun things my grandkids love to put on them. Excellent purchase for the price!

Light weight
Cheap, very cheap, missing screws from the hinges.The bottom is glued on. I wouldn't trust it to hold much
